What is the YC-3B?
What is the YC-3B?
YC-3B is a VST Instrument which reproduces tone wheel organ sounds. The YC-3B contains 64 different
preset sound programs and lets you create your original organ sounds from these preset sound programs.
Also you can save your original organ sounds as VST presets.
YC-3B window
Voice window
Preset
This box lets you select the preset sound in the YC-3B. Click the icon () at right of this box, then select the
preset sound. The name of the selected preset will be shown in this box.
NOTE You cannot save the edited sound from the Preset box.
[Voice]/[Effect] buttons
These buttons switch the window between Voice and Effect. Clicking [Voice] calls up the Voice window while
clicking [Effect] calls up the Effect window. The yellow colored button indicates the currently selected window.
Master Volume knob
Controls the entire volume of the YC-3B.
Rotary
The lower lever alternates the Rotary Speaker status between “Run” and “Stop.” When you set this lever from
“Stop” to “Run,” the speaker rotation speed will increase gradually until it reaches the specified value. When
you set this lever from “Run” to “Stop,” the speaker rotation speed will decrease gradually until it reaches 0.
The upper lever changes the speaker rotation speed between “Slow” and “Fast.”

Controls the expression volume. The higher the slider setting, the larger the volume, and vice versa.
Noise, Response, Key On Click, Key Off Click
Cho/Vib
Sets the Chorus or Vibrato effect. The button on the left side will turn this effect on/off and you can click the
desired button from six variations (upper [1] – [3] and lower [1] – [3]).

Determines whether Bar 1' is disabled or not when Percussion is turned On. If this switch is turned On (lit), Bar
1' will be disabled, and vice versa.

further it is “pulled out,” the louder the level.
By adjusting each footage, you can create your desired or favorite percussion sound.
16', 5 1/3', 8', 4', 2 2/3', 2', 1 3/5', 1 1/3', 1' bar

Response knob
Adjusts the attack speed when pressing the key and the decay speed when
releasing the key.
Turning this knob to the left will decrease the speed while turning it to the
right will increase the speed.
Key On Click knob
Adjusts the level of the click noise generated by pressing the key.
Key Off Click knob
Adjusts the level of the click noise generated by releasing the key.
Each/First select switch
When “Each” is selected, a new AEG is generated independently every time
you press the key. This means that each key-on produces a new percussion
sound with the same level as that of the first one. When “First” is selected, the
AEG is generated via only the first key-on and this AEG will be maintained
until you release all the keys. This means that a new key-on (after you release
all other keys) produces a percussion sound with the AEG level at the new
key-on timing.
Length
Adjusts the decay time of the percussion sound.
Turning this knob to the left will decrease the time while turning it to the right
