Ensure that all devices you will connect are properly grounded. Place cables away from fluorescent lights, air conditioners and machines that are likely to generate electrical noise. Allow adequate space around the unit for air circulation. Grounding: To prevent any damage to the product or any connected devices, and to improve audio/video signal quality, it is important to ensure that the extender systems are properly grounded. Transmitter Unit Step 1. Use a HDMI cable to connect the source device to the port labeled HDMI IN on the transmitter unit. Step 2. Use the supplied mini-USB to USB-A cable to connect the mini-USB port on the transmitter unit, and the USB-A port of the source device. Step 3. Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the port labeled STEREO IN on the transmitter and the 3.5mm audio output port of a source device (if needed) Step 4. Use a TOSLINK cable to connect the port labeled TOSLINK IN on the transmitter & and the TOSLINK output port of a source device (if needed) Step 5. Connect a supplied RJ11 to DB9 adapter to a supplied RJ11 serial extension cable, connect the RJ11 connector of the RJ11 serial extension cable to the port labeled RS232 on the transmitter, and connect the DB9 connector of the RJ11 to DB9 adapter to a DCE (if needed) Step 6. If choosing to connect the supplied IR receiver to the port labeled IR IN on the transmitter unit, then please connect the supplied IR transceiver to the port labeled IR OUT on the receiver unit. Otherwise, connect the supplied IR transceiver to the port labeled IR OUT on the transmitter unit, then connect the supplied IR receiver to the port labeled IR IN on the receiver unit. Step 7. Use a CAT5e/6/7 cable to connect to the RJ45 port on the transmitter & receiver. For a better EMI compliance, it’s suggested to use ferrite cores to the following places: a.) Attach ferrite cores to both ends of the CAT cable, one for each, where the ferrite core is close to the Tx and Rx units. b.) Attach a ferrite core to the HDMI cable in between Tx and PC, where the ferrite core is close to the Tx unit. c.) Attach a ferrite core to HDMI cable in between Rx and monitor, where the ferrite core is close to the Rx unit. Receiver Unit Step 1. Connect a HDMI display to the port labeled HDMI OUT on the receiver unit using a HDMI cable. Step 2. Connect all peripheral USB devices to USB-A port on the receiver unit. (if needed) Step3. Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the port labeled STEREO OUT on the receiver and the 3.5mm audio input port of a display or a speaker. (if needed) Step 4. Use a TOSLINK cable to connect the port labeled TOSLINK OUT on the receiver & and the TOSLINK input port of a display or a TOSLINK source device. (if needed) Step 5. Connect a supplied RJ11 to DB9 adapter to a supplied RJ11 serial extension cable, connect the RJ11 connector of the RJ11 serial extension cable to the port labeled RS232 on the receiver, and connect the DB9 connector of the RJ11 to DB9 adapter to a DTE (if needed) Step 6. After all devices connected, apply the supplied power adapter to the transmitter unit. Step 7. Power on the connected computer and devices. 7 Serial Configuration (US) 29510 / 89510 built-in serial interface allows users to transmit RS-232 up to maximum baud rate 115,200bps, at Bi-directional pass-through. Please follow the installation and operation steps as shown below. You will need to use the supplied 6-pin RJ11 extension cable & RJ11 to DB9 adapter for connecting the Transmitter and Receiver in between the DCE (data communication equipment) and DTE (data terminal equipment). The configuration of controller’s serial port is shown as below. Pour une meilleure conformité aux interférences électromagnétiques, il est suggéré d’utiliser des noyaux en ferrite aux endroits suivants: a.) Attacher les noyaux de ferrite aux deux extrémités du câble CAT, un pour chacun, où le noyau de ferrite est proche des unités TX et RX. b.) Fixez un noyau de ferrite au câble HDMI entre TX et PC, où le noyau de ferrite est proche de l’unité TX. c.) Fixez un noyau de ferrite au câble HDMI entre le RX et le moniteur, où le noyau de ferrite est proche de l’unité RX. Récepteur Étape 1 : connecter un écran HDMI au port HDMI OUT sur le récepteur à l'aide d'un câble HDMI. Étape 2 : connecter tous les périphériques USB au port USB-A sur le récepteur. Bevestig een ferrietkern aan de HDMI-kabel tussen Rx en monitor, waar de ferrietkern zich dicht bij de Rx-eenheid bevindt. 35 Installatie op het apparat (NL) Ontvanger Stap 1. Sluit een HDMi scherm aan op de poort HDMI OUT op de ontvanger met behulp van een HDMI-kabel. Stap 2. Sluit alle bijbehorende USB-toestellen aan op de USB-A poort op de ontvanger. (indien noodzakelijk) Stap 3. Gebruik een 3,5mm audiokabel voor het aansluiten op de poort STEREO OUT op de zender en de 3,5mm audio-ingangspoort van een scherm of luidspreker. Nadat alle toestellen aangesloten zijn, sluit u de geleverde voedingsadapter aan op de zender. Stap 7. Schakel de aangesloten computer en toestellen in. 36 Seriële Configuratie (NL) 29510 / 89510 ingebouwde seriële interface maakt het voor gebruikers mogelijk om RS-232 te kunnen uitzenden tot een maximum baudrate van 115,200bps, bij een bidirectionele doorgang. Volg onderstaande installatie- en gebruikstappen op. Gebruik de geleverde 6-pin RJ11 verlengkabel & RJ11 naar DB9 adapter voor het aansluiten van de zender en ontvanger tussen de DCE (data communicatie equipment) en DTE (data terminal equipment). Indien uw computer geen seriële connector heeft, kunt u de USB-naar-serieel adapter gebruiken voor de aansluiting. Collegare un nucleo di ferrite al cavo HDMI tra Tx e PC, dove il nucleo di ferrite è vicino all'unità Tx. c.) Collegare un nucleo di ferrite al cavo HDMI tra Rx e monitor, dove il nucleo di ferrite è vicino all'unità Rx. 43 Installazione del dispositivo (IT) Ricevitore Fase 1. Collegare un monitor HDMI alla porta contrassegnata come HDMI OUT sul ricevitore utilizzando un cavo HDMI. Fase 2. Collegare tutti i dispositivi USB periferici alla porta USB-A sul ricevitore. (Se necessario) Fase 3. Seguire la procedura di installazione e funzionamento, come illustrato di seguito. Sarà necessario utilizzare il cavo di prolunga a 6-pin RJ11 in dotazione e l'adattatore da RJ11 a DB9 per il collegamento di trasmettitore e ricevitore tra DCE (data communication equipment) e DTE (Data Terminal Equipment). Se non c'è il connettore seriale nel computer, è possibile utilizzare un adattatore da USB a seriale per il collegamento. Schließen Sie einen Ferritkern an das HDMI-Kabel zwischen Tx und PC an, wobei sich der Ferritkern in der Nähe der Tx-Einheit befindet. c.) befestigen Sie einen Ferrit-Kern an HDMI-Kabel zwischen Rx und Monitor, wo der Ferrit-Kern in der Nähe der Rx-Einheit liegt. 51 Geräteinstallation (DE) Empfänger Schritt 1. Schließen Sie ein HDMI-Display an den mit HDMI OUT gekennzeichneten Port am Empfänger an. Benutzen Sie dazu ein HDMI-Kabel. Schritt 2. Schließen Sie alle USB-Peripheriegeräte an den USB-A-Port am Empfänger an (soweit erforderlich). Schritt 3. Verbinden Sie den mit STEREO OUT am Empfänger gekennzeichneten Port und den 3,5 mm Audio-Input-Port eines Displays oder Lautsprechers mit einem 3,5 mm Audiokabel (soweit erforderlich). Schritt 4.
