Your remote is already programmed to
control your digital set-top box. To control
your TV, DVD player, VCR or audio device,
follow the steps below to program your
remote.
HERE’S HOW:
1.
Install the batteries.
2.
Find the manufacturer’s code for your
TV (see other side).
3.
Turn on your TV and digital set-top box.
4.
Press the TV button on your remote
control.
5.
Pre
ss and hold the Setup button until the
TV button flashes twice, then release.
6.
Enter the first manufacturer’s code
listed for your TV. The TV button on your
remote will flash twice.
7.
Press the POWER button. If the TV turns
off, make sure that the VOL+/- and Mute
buttons also work. If so, you’re all set!
8.
If not, repeat these steps using the
next manufacturer’s code (you may
need to try several codes to find the
one that works). If you still can’t find a
code that
works, see the “Can’t Find
Your
Code?” section.

CAN’T FIND YOUR CODE?
If you can’t program your remote using
the codes on the back, follow the steps
below.
1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press TV on your remote. Then hold
Setup until the TV button flashes twice.
3. Enter 9-9-1 and the TV button will
flash twice.
4. Press 1 and the TV button will flash twice.
5. Press the Power button, then press CH+
multiple times until the TV turns off.
6. Once the TV turns off, press Setup to
lock in the code.

A. You may have pressed the wrong code.
Check the code to be entered, and try
programming again.
Q. Why does my mode key flash, but
there is no response when I press
a key?
A. Make sure the remote control is aimed
at your home entertainment device and
is no further than 15 feet away.

VOLUME LOCK
Once you program your remote control
for your TV, the volume buttons will control
the volume on your TV, regardless of which
mode the remote is in (AUX, TV, or Cable).
To set your remote to control the volume
of another device, follow the steps below.
1. Press a button for the mode you want to
control separately (example: AUX).
2. Press and hold Setup until the mode
button flashes twice, then release.
3. Enter 9-9-3, then press VOL-. The mode
button will flash four times, confirming
unlock.
4. Repeat these steps for each device you
want to unlock.
VOL+, VOL- and Mute will now control
the specified device’s volume.
To unlock all the volume controls (global
volume unlock):
1. Press and hold Setup until the selected
mode button flashes twice, then release.
2. Enter 9-9-3, then press VOL+. The
mode key will flash four times,
confirming unlock.
VOL+/- and Mute will now control
the specified device’s volume
CHANNEL
CONTROL LOCK
Currently, the TV and CABLE modes are
preprogrammed to change only the channels
on your set-top box. You can turn this
feature off, allowing you to change channels
on your TV while in TV mode.
To deactivate the channel control lock:
1. Press CABLE once. Next, press and hold
Setup until the CABLE button flashes
twice, then release.
2. Enter 9-7-3, then press CH-. The CABLE
key will flash four times.
You can now control channels for your TV
while in TV mode, and your set-top box while
in CABLE mode.
To reactivate the channel control lock:
Follow the directions above. In step 2, press
CH+ instead of CH-. The CABLE button will
flash twice. Now, you will only be able to
change channels on the set-top box.

BLOQUEO DE VOLUMEN
Una vez que programes el control remoto
de tu televisión, los botones de volumen
controlarán el volumen de la televisión sin
importar en qué modalidad esté (AUX, TV
o Cable). Para configurar tu control remoto
de manera que controle el volumen de otro
aparato, sigue los pasos más abajo.
1. Oprime el botón para la modalidad
que deseas controlar por separado
(por ejemplo: AUX).
2. Oprime y sostén el botón Setup
hasta que el botón de la modalidad
parpadee dos veces; después, suéltalo.
3. Ingresa 9-9-3, y después oprime VOL-.
El botón de la modalidad parpadeará
cuatro veces, confirmando el desbloqueo.
4. Repite estos pasos para cada aparato
que desees desbloquear. Ahora,
VOL+, VOL- y Mute controlarán el
volúmen de cada aparato sólo en su
propia modalidad.
Para desbloquear todos los controles de
volúmen (desbloqueo de volúmen global):
1. Oprime y sostén el botón Setup hasta que
el botón de la modalidad seleccionada
parpadee dos veces; después, suéltalo.
2. Ingresa 9-9-3, y después oprime VOL+.

BLOQUEO DEL CONTROL
DE CANALES
Las modalidades de TV y CABLE vienen
preprogramadas para cambiar sólo los canales
en tu caja digital. Tú puedes desactivar esta
función para poder cambiar los canales en tu
televisión mientras estás en la modalidad de TV.
Para desactivar el bloqueo del control de
canales:
1. Oprime CABLE una vez. Después, oprime
y sostén el botón Setup hasta que el botón
CABLE parpadee dos veces; después,
suéltalo.
2. Ingresa 9-7-3, y después oprime CH-.
La tecla de CABLE parpadeará cuatro veces.
Ahora puedes controlar los canales de tu
televisión mientras estás en la modalidad
de TV, y tu descodificador mientras estás
en la modalidad de CABLE.
Para reactivar el bloqueo del control
de canales:
Sigue las direcciones de arriba. En el segundo
paso, presiona CH+ en vez de CH-. El botón
CABLE parpadeará dos veces. Ahora sólo
podrás cambiar los canales en la caja digital.
