Hold down the AMB/ button on the left () side of your Walkman for 2 seconds. The OPR lamp on the right () side will turn green. Charging will start (the OPR lamp lights up in orange) even if the connection was not made properly, but there is a possibility that the computer has not recognized the Walkman. In such a case, remove the Walkman from the USB cradle and then attach to the USB cradle again. • When you use your Walkman for the first time, or if you have not used the Walkman for a long time, it may take a few minutes to be recognized by the computer. Check that the computer recognizes the Walkman after you have connected it to the computer for about 10 minutes. • If the approaches listed above fail to resolve the issue, turn off your computer completely and disconnect your Walkman. Then disconnect the power cable, battery, and anything else connected to the computer and discharge it for five minutes. After discharging, turn on the computer again and reconnect the Walkman. About the manuals The earbuds seal your ears. Notes for using Walkman Note for battery • To prevent battery deterioration, charge the battery at least once every six months. About volume operation (Only for countries/areas complying with European and Korean Directives) The voice guidance “Check the volume level” is meant to protect your ears when you turn the volume up to a level that is harmful for your ears for the first time. You can cancel the alarm and warning by pressing any button. Note • You can turn up the volume after canceling the alarm and warning. • After the initial warning, the alarm and warning repeat every 20 cumulative hours that the volume is set to a level that is harmful for your ears. When this happens, the volume is turned down automatically. • If the volume is set to a level that is harmful for your ears and you turn off your Walkman, the volume is turned down to a level that is safe for your ears automatically. About Ambient Sound Mode Ambient Sound Mode allows you to hear ambient sound even while wearing headphones. However, note that this mode does not enable you to hear all sounds around you. Ambient sound may not be heard well depending on the surrounding environment, type of the music being played on your Walkman, or the volume level. Be very careful when using the Walkman in places where an inability to hear ambient sound would be dangerous (such as on roads where there is car or bicycle traffic). Note regarding use in a pool or the ocean Refer to “Read Before Using your Walkman® in a Pool or the Ocean”. About the operating temperature of the Walkman The operating temperature of the Walkman is between –5 °C (23 °F) and +45 °C (113 °F). Bluetooth capabilities Connect your smartphone and your Walkman via a Bluetooth connection so you can listen to music stored on your smartphone using the Walkman or answer incoming calls to the smartphone. Pairing and connecting with your smartphone Pairing cannot be started unless the Bluetooth mode on your Walkman is turned off. 1. Hold down the  (power) button on the right () side of your Walkman for 3 seconds to turn the power on. 2. Hold down the AMB/ button on the left () side of your Walkman for 7 seconds. The OPR lamp on the right () side will flash quickly in alternating blue and red. After the first time you connect your Walkman and smartphone, you can connect them by holding down the AMB/ button for 2 seconds. 3. On your smartphone, turn on the Bluetooth function and find your Walkman on the Bluetooth settings screen. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the settings. When a list of detected devices appears, select [NW-WS623] or [NW-WS625]. If passkey input is required, input “0000”. Your Walkman and the smartphone will register to each other and a connection will be established. The OPR lamp on the right () side will light up in blue. About the in-ear headphones About the headphones • Avoid playing the unit at so loud a volume that extended play might affect your hearing. • At a high volume outside sounds may become inaudible. Avoid listening to the unit in situations where hearing must not be impaired, for example, while driving or cycling. • As the headphones are of open-air design, sounds go out through the headphones. Remember not to disturb those close to you. Remarque • Vous pouvez augmenter le volume après avoir annulé l’alarme et le message d’avertissement. • Après le premier message d’avertissement, l’alarme et le message d’avertissement sont répétés toutes les 20 heures (cumulées) à compter du réglage du volume à un niveau dangereux pour vos oreilles. Lorsque cela se produit, le volume est réduit automatiquement. • Si le volume est réglé à un niveau dangereux pour vos oreilles et que vous éteignez le Walkman, le volume diminue automatiquement jusqu’à un niveau sûr pour vos oreilles. À propos du mode Bruit ambiant Le mode Bruit ambiant vous permet d’entendre le bruit ambiant même lorsque vous portez les écouteurs. Toutefois, gardez à l’esprit que ce mode ne vous permet pas d’entendre tous les sons émis autour de vous. Vous pouvez mal entendre le bruit ambiant selon le type d’environnement, le type de musique jouée sur le Walkman ou le niveau du volume. Soyez très prudent lorsque vous utilisez le Walkman dans des lieux où il pourrait être dangereux de ne pas entendre le bruit ambiant (par exemple sur des routes sur lesquelles des voitures et des vélos roulent). Remarque concernant l’utilisation dans une piscine ou dans la mer Reportez-vous à « À lire avant d’utiliser le Walkman® dans une piscine ou dans la mer ». À propos de la température de fonctionnement du Walkman La température de fonctionnement du Walkman est comprise entre –5 °C et +45 °C. Fonctionnalités Bluetooth Raccordez votre smartphone et votre Walkman via une connexion Bluetooth pour pouvoir écouter la musique stockée sur votre smartphone avec le Walkman ou pour répondre aux appels reçus sur le smartphone. Pairage et connexion avec le smartphone Il est impossible de démarrer le pairage sauf si le mode Bluetooth de votre Walkman est désactivé. 1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche  (Alimentation) sur le côté droit () de votre Walkman pendant 3 secondes pour le mettre sous tension. 2. Maintenez enfoncée la touche AMB/ sur le côté gauche () de votre Walkman pendant 7 secondes. Le voyant OPR sur le côté droit () clignote rapidement alternativement en bleu et rouge. Après la première connexion de votre Walkman et du smartphone, vous pouvez les connecter en maintenant enfoncée la touche AMB/ pendant 2 secondes. 3. Sur votre smartphone, activez la fonction Bluetooth et recherchez votre Walkman sur l’écran de configuration Bluetooth. Suivez les instructions à l’écran pour terminer la configuration. Lorsque la liste des appareils détectés s’affiche, sélectionnez [NW-WS623] ou [NW-WS625]. Si la saisie d’une clé d’accès est requise, saisissez « 0000 ». Votre Walkman et le smartphone s’enregistrent mutuellement et une connexion est établie. Le voyant OPR sur le côté droit () s’allume fixement en bleu. Arrêt de la connexion Bluetooth 1. Maintenez enfoncée la touche AMB/ sur le côté gauche () de votre Walkman pendant 2 secondes. Le voyant OPR sur le côté droit () s’allume en vert. Symptôme et solution Votre Walkman ne peut pas recharger la batterie ou n’est pas reconnu sur votre ordinateur. • Fixez correctement et fermement votre Walkman au socle USB (fourni). Le chargement démarre (le voyant OPR s’allume en orange) même si la connexion n’a pas été correctement effectuée, mais il est possible que l’ordinateur n’ait pas reconnu le Walkman. Dans ce cas, retirez le Walkman du socle USB, puis fixez-le à nouveau sur le socle USB. • Si vous utilisez votre Walkman pour la première fois, ou si vous n’avez pas utilisé votre Walkman pendant une période prolongée, il peut s’écouler quelques minutes avant que l’ordinateur ne le reconnaisse. Vérifiez que l’ordinateur reconnaît le Walkman une fois qu’il est raccordé à l’ordinateur depuis environ 10 minutes. • Si les procédures répertoriées ci-dessus n’arrivent pas à résoudre le problème, mettez totalement hors tension votre ordinateur et déconnectez votre Walkman. Ensuite, déconnectez le câble d’alimentation, la batterie et tout ce qui est branché sur l’ordinateur, puis déchargez-le pendant cinq minutes. Après la décharge, remettez sous tension l’ordinateur et reconnectez le Walkman. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass dieser Modus Sie nicht in die Lage versetzt, alle Umgebungsgeräusche zu hören. Je nach der Umgebung, der Art der auf Ihrem Walkman abgespielten Musik oder dem Lautstärkepegel sind Umgebungsgeräusche u. U. nicht gut zu hören. B. auf Straßen mit Auto- oder Fahrradverkehr). Hinweis zur Benutzung in einem Schwimmbecken oder im Meer Nehmen Sie auf „Vor Benutzung Ihres Walkman® in einem Schwimmbecken oder im Meer lesen“ Bezug. Bluetooth-Funktionen Verbinden Sie Ihr Smartphone per Bluetooth mit Ihrem Walkman, damit Sie mit dem Walkman die auf Ihrem Smartphone gespeicherte Musik anhören oder auf dem Smartphone eingehende Anrufe entgegennehmen können. Koppeln und Verbinden Ihres Smartphones Die Kopplung kann nur gestartet werden, wenn der Bluetooth-Modus auf Ihrem Walkman ausgeschaltet ist. 1. Halten Sie die -Taste (Ein/Aus) rechts () am Walkman 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um den Walkman einzuschalten. 2. Halten Sie die AMB/ -Taste links () am Walkman 7 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Die OPR-Anzeige rechts () blinkt schnell abwechselnd blau und rot. Nachdem Sie Walkman und Smartphone einmal verbunden hatten, können Sie beide Geräte durch 2 Sekunden langes Gedrückthalten der AMB/ -Taste verbinden. 3. Acerca de la temperatura de funcionamiento del Walkman La temperatura de funcionamiento del Walkman es de entre –5 °C y +45 °C Capacidades Bluetooth Si conecta el smartphone y el Walkman a través de una conexión Bluetooth, podrá utilizar el Walkman para escuchar la música almacenada en el smartphone o para responder las llamadas que entren en el smartphone. Emparejamiento y conexión con el smartphone El emparejamiento no se puede iniciar a menos que se desactive el modo Bluetooth en el Walkman. 1. Mantenga presionado el botón  (Encendido/Apagado) del lado derecho () del Walkman durante 3 segundo para encenderlo. 2. Mantenga presionado el botón AMB/ del lado izquierdo () durante 7 segundo. La lámpara OPR del lado derecho () parpadeará rápidamente alternando entre azul y rojo. Después de conectar por primera vez el Walkman y el smartphone, puede conectarlos manteniendo presionado el botón AMB/ durante 2 segundo. 3. En el smartphone, active la función Bluetooth y busque el Walkman en la pantalla de configuración de Bluetooth. Siga las instrucciones en pantalla para completar la configuración. Cuando aparezca la lista de dispositivos detectados, seleccione [NW-WS623] o [NW-WS625]. Si se le pide que introduzca una clave de paso, introduzca “0000”. El Walkman y el smartphone se registrarán mutuamente y se establecerá una conexión. La lámpara OPR del lado derecho () se iluminará en azul. Finalización de la conexión Bluetooth 1.
