MODELO 3520 FUCIONAMIENTO IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS OPERATING MANUAL Yunta De Ventilador 1. Retire con cuidado el Ventilador de la bolsa. 2. Coloque el Ventilador en una superficie firme y nivelada. ADVERTENCIA: Los topes de plástico o de goma, como los pies de esta unidad, pueden adherirse a la superficie de muebles y/o pisos de madera dura. La unidad puede dejar un residuo que podría oscurecer, manchar o producir defectos permanentes en la terminación de ciertas superficies de muebles y/o pisos de madera dura. 3. Conecte el cable a un tomacorrientes eléctrico de 120 V~. Asegúrese que el enchufe se introduzca firmemente en el tomacorrientes. 4. Encienda el Ventilador seleccionando la velocidad deseada con la Perilla de Encendido situada al costado del Ventilador. (Figura 1) 0 – Apagado 3 - Alta 2 - Mediana 1 - Baja 5.Para ajustar la direccion del aire, simplemente jire la cabeza del Ventilador. 6. La cremallera con un adjuste de mantendra el Ventilador en la posicion deseada. EL ENSAMBLE DE LA CREMALLERA EN EL “CYCLONE” ESTA DISENADA PARA QUE TRABE EN CADA POSICION. CUIDADO: No use gasolina, bencina, thinner (removedor), limpiadores fuertes, etc. ya que pueden dañar el Ventilador. NUNCA use ALCOHOL O SOLVENTES. Sólo uso #6-32 X 1" tornillos para montar este Ventilador. La longitud del tornillo debe ser lo suficientemente larga para ajustarse al clavo pared. Si un clavo no puede ser montado ni si el Ventilador se monta en una pared utilice unas anclas mas covenientes para este tipo de montaje. Do not block or tamper with the Fan in any manner while it is in operation. 12.Always place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the Fan overturning. Locate the Power Cord so the Fan or other objects are not resting on it. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over. 13.This Fan is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate a Fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. 14. Do not use Fan outdoors. 15. This Fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are confined. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS Rev. G 8/10 1 2085398 MODEL 3520 OPERATION 1. Remove the Fan from the carton. 2. Place the Fan on a firm, level surface. WARNING: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/or hardwood floors. 3. Plug the cord set into a 120 V~ electrical outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. 4. Turn the Fan ON by selecting the desired speed with the Power Knob on the top of the Fan. (Figure 1) 0 - Off 3 - High 2 - Medium 1 - Low 5. To adjust direction of air, simply turn the head of the Fan. 6. The ratchet adjustment will securely locate and hold the Fan in the desired position. THE RACHET ASSEMBLY ON THE CYCLONE ® IS DESIGNED FOR POSITIVE LOCK POSITIONING. THEREFORE, WHEN ADJUSTING THE FAN ANGLE A CLICKING SOUND WILL BE HEARD. THIS IS NORMAL. 7. To turn the Fan OFF, turn the Power Knob to OFF (0) and unplug the unit from the electrical unit. CLEANING: Clean the Fan intake and exhaust openings with the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove dirt and lint that may accumulate over time. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART FAN. Clean the body of the Fan with a soft cloth. CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they may damage the Fan. NEVER use ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS. SERVICING: For servicing, other than general user maintenance, please contact Customer Service at 800-233-0268, Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm Eastern. STORAGE: Store the Fan, with these instructions, in the original carton in a cool, dry place. Figure 1 WALLMOUNT: THIS FAN MUST BE MOUNTED ON A STRUCTURALLY SOLID FLAT SURFACE. Only use #6-32 X 1" screws to mount this Fan. The screw length must be long enough to engage the wall stud. If a stud cannot be found or if the Fan is mounted on a masonry wall, obtain suitable mounting anchors. When mounting the Fan to the wall, the cord set MUST BE located between the Body of the Fan and the Yoke of the Fan. (Figure 2)  LASKO PRODUCTS, INC. Vuelva a armar el ventilador por completo, siguiendo las instrucciones, antes de reconectarse a la fuente de poder. ADVERTENCIA: Este artefacto posee un enchufe polarizado (una espiga es más ancha que la otra). No enchufe el Ventilador en un enrollador de cable. 10. No haga funcionar ningún Ventilador con un cable o enchufe dañado o después de que el ventilador presente algún desperfecto o haya sido dejado caer o sufriera cualquier tipo de daño. 11.No introduzca ni permita que se introduzcan dedos u objetos extraños en ninguna abertura de ventilación o escape, puesto que podría provocar un golpe de electricidad, incendio, o daños al ventilador. No bloquee ni manipule el Ventilador de ninguna manera mientras esté en funcionamiento. 12.Siempre coloque el Ventilador sobre una superficie, estable, plana y horizontal mientras esté en funcionamiento, para evitar la posibilidad de que el Ventilador se dé vuelta. Ubique el cable eléctrico de tal modo que el ventilador u otros objetos no descansen sobre él. No coloque el cable de corriente debajo de alfombras. No cubra el cable de corriente con tapetes, alfombras estrechas o artículos de coberturas similares. No coloque el cable de corriente debajo de muebles o artefactos. Coloque el cable de corriente lejos del tráfico de la habitación, donde las personas no se tropiecen con éste. 13.Este Ventilador no ha sido diseñado para usarse en lugares mojados o húmedos. Nunca coloque un Ventilador donde quepa la posibilidad de que caiga en una bañera u otro recipiente con agua. 14.No use el Ventilador en exteriores. 15.Este Ventilador no es adecuado para usar en instalaciones de agricultura incluyendo áreas donde se almacene ganado, aves de corral u otros animales. Por favor consulte el Articulo 547-7 (2008) del Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC), o los códigos o normas estatales o locales aplicables con relación a los requisitos eléctricos para edificios destinados a las agricultura. ESTE Ventilador NO CUMPLE CON LOS REQUISITOS DEL ARTICULO 547-7 DEL NEC (2008). 16.Este Ventilador no es adecuado para usar en lugares peligrosos. Por favor consulte el Artículo 500 del Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC), o los códigos o normas estatales o locales aplicables con relación a los requisitos eléctricos para lugares peligrosos.
