Never carry the tool with nger
on or under trigger. Tool will eject
a fastener if the workpiece con-

When using tool, care should
be taken due to possibility of
tool recoil after a fastener is
driven. If workpiece contact
(safety element) is unintention-
ally allowed to re-contact work
surface following a recoil, an
unwanted fastener will be driven.
Therefore, allow tool to recoil
completely off work surface after
a fastener is driven to avoid this
condition. Do not push work-
piece contact (safety element)
on work surface until a second
fastener is desired.

Disconnect tool from air before
doing tool maintenance, clearing
a jammed fastener, leaving work
area, moving tool to another
location, or handing the tool to
another person.

are securely tightened at all
times. Make daily inspections
for free movement of trigger and
workpiece contact (safety ele-
ment). Never use the tool if parts
are missing or damaged.

magazine. Use only genuine
SENCO fasteners. Do not load
with workpiece contact (safety
element) or trigger depressed.

additional safety instructions. Failure to do so could result in DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY.
Always select an actuation system that is appropriate for the fastener application and training of tool

Do not operate tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or combustible dust.
Do not modify tool unless authorized in tool manual or approved in writing by Senco.
Always refer to tool maintenance instructions for detailed information on proper maintenance of a
tool. Only qualified personnel shall repair the tool using parts supplied or recommended by Senco or parts
that perform equivalently.
Use only fasteners and accessories made or recommended by Senco, or fasteners and accessories
that perform equivalently to those recommended by Senco.
Tool operator and all other people in work area shall wear approved eye protection. Employers are
responsible for enforcing personal protective equipment requirements for tool operators and all other
personnel in work area.
Before operating, inspect tool to confirm
• use of proper power source
• that tool is in proper working order
• what actuation system is on tool and how it operates
• no misalignment or binding of moving parts
• all conditions necessary for proper and safe tool operation
Operating Controls
Do not use tool with missing or damaged safety warning label(s.)
Do not use tool that is not in proper working order. Tag and physically segregate tool to prevent use.
Do not remove, tamper with, or otherwise cause tool operating controls to become inoperable.
Do not operate tool if any portion of the tool operating controls is inoperable, disconnected, altered,
or not working properly.
Tool Handling
Only persons who have read and understand tool operating/safety instructions should operate tool.
Always assume that tool contains fasteners.
Do not point tool toward yourself or anyone whether it contains fasteners or not.
Keep bystanders and children away while operating tool.
DANGER
Do not actuate tool unless tool is placed firmly against the work surface.
Respect tool as a working implement.
Do not engage in horseplay.
Stay alert, focus on your work and use common sense when working with tools.
Do not use tool while tired, after having consumed drugs or alcohol, or while under the influence of
medication.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Do not hold or carry tool with a finger on the trigger.
Drive fasteners into proper work surface only.
Do not drive fasteners into other fasteners.
After driving a fastener, tool may spring back (“recoil”) causing it to move away from the work
surface. To reduce risk of injury always manage recoil by:
• always maintaining control of tool
• allowing recoil to move tool away from work surface
• not resisting recoil such that tool will be forced back into the work surface. In standard “Contact
Actuation Mode,” if workpiece contact is allowed to re-contact work surface before the trigger is
released, an unintended discharge of a fastener will occur
• keeping face and body parts away from tool
When working close to an edge of a work surface or at steep angles use care to minimize chipping,
splitting or splintering, or free flight or ricochet of fasteners, which may cause injury.
Keep hands and body away from fastener discharge area of tool.
Do not load tool with fasteners when any one of the operating controls is activated.
Do not operate tool with any power source other than specified in tool operating/safety instructions.
Do not operate tool with any operating pressure other than that specified in tool operating/safety
instructions.
Use extra caution when driving fasteners into existing walls or other blind areas to prevent contact
with hidden objects or persons on other side (e.g., wires, pipes.)
Do not lift, pull or lower tool by the hose.
Disconnecting tool
Disconnect tool from the power source when:
• Not in use;
• Performing any maintenance or repairs;
• Clearing a jam;
• Elevating, lowering or otherwise moving the tool to a new location;
• Tool is outside of the operator’s supervision or control; or
• Removing fasteners from the magazine.

Senco Products, Inc. (“SENCO”) designs and constructs its products using the highest standards of material and workmanship. SENCO warrants to the original
retail purchaser that the following products will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the warranty period specifi ed below:

During the warranty period (which begins on the purchase date), SENCO will repair or replace, at SENCO’s option and expense, any product or part that is defective
in materials or workmanship after examination by a SENCO Authorized Warranty Service Center, subject to the exceptions, exclusions and limitations described below.
Any replacement product or part will carry a warranty for the balance of the warranty period applicable to the replaced product or part. A DATED SALES RECEIPT
OR PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM. Warranty registration also is required
and can be accomplished through on-line Product Registration at www.senco.com or by completing and returning the postage paid warranty registration form included
with your Operator’s manual/parts chart information, found inside the product carton. To make a warranty claim, you must return the product, with proper receipt/proof
of purchase and return transportation charges prepaid, to a SENCO Authorized Warranty Service Center. A list of SENCO Authorized Warranty Service Centers can
be found at www.senco.com or by calling 1-800-543-4596 toll free. SENCO will perform its obligations under this warranty, within a reasonable time after approval of
the warranty claim.
Wheelbarrow Compressors:
1. Subject to the exceptions, exclusions and limitations described below, SENCO warrants that the compressor pump will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for two years after the purchase date.
2. Defective parts of the compressor pump not subject to normal wear and tear will be repaired or replaced, at SENCO’s option, during the two year war-
ranty period. If SENCO determines that repair or replacement is not feasible, SENCO will refund the purchase price less reasonable depreciation based
on actual use.
SENCO Cordless:
1. Subject to the exceptions, exclusions and limitations described below, SENCO warrants that the SENCO Cordless tool will be free from defects in materi-
als and workmanship for two years after the purchase date.
2. SENCO warrants that the batteries and chargers used with SENCO Cordless tools will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year
after the purchase date.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The following warranty exclusions apply:
1. Normal wear parts are not covered under this warranty. Normal wear parts include, for example, isolators, drive belts, air fi lters, rubber o-rings, seals,
driver blades, piston stops, and piston/driver assembly.
2. This warranty does not cover parts damaged due to normal wear, misapplication, misuse, accidents, operation at other than recommended speeds or
voltage (electric units only), improper storage, or damage resulting during shipping.
3. Products used in production/industrial applications as defi ned by SENCO are excluded from this warranty.
4. Labor charges or loss or damage resulting from improper operation, maintenance or repairs are not covered by this warranty.
5. SENCO does not warrant the Wheelbarrow Compressor Engine/Motor, but the Compressor Engine/Motor may be covered under a warranty offered by its
manufacturer.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This warranty will be honored, only if:
A. Clean, dry, regulated compressed air has been used, at air pressure not exceeding the maximum indicated on the tool casting;
B. No evidence of abuse, abnormal conditions, accident, neglect, misuse or improper modifi cations or storage of the product; and
C. No Deviation from operating instructions, specifi cations, and maintenance schedules exists (read Operator Manual for use, specifi cations, and mainte-
nance instructions).
THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY ON THE PRODUCT, AND SENCO DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WILL BE
LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SPECIFIED ABOVE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN
IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. YOUR REMEDIES ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY AS STATED ABOVE.
SENCO SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE
EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN

REPLACEMENT OF TOOL DUE TO NATURAL DISASTER
SENCO will replace any tool destroyed by an Act of God such as fl ood, earthquake, hurricane or other disaster resulting only from the forces of nature. Such a claim
will be honored provided that such original retail purchaser had previously submitted a completed warranty registration card for the tool, and then submits proof of
ownership and an acceptable statement describing such Act of God documented by an insurance carrier, police department, or other official governmental source. To
