Instructions
NOTE: If your tub/shower has an extended push button diverter, this handle
will interfere with diverter control. Use clear handle instead.
Tools Required:
Phillips Screwdriver (not included), Hex Wrench (included)
Removing Old Handle
1. Turn off water supply to faucet.
2a.
If replacing Clear Plastic Handle
Pry off index button (a small flat screwdriver may help) and then
proceed to remove the handle screw. Remove the old handle and the
small washer. Discard old handle, old handle screw, and small washer.
2b.
If replacing Metal Lever Handle
Remove hex screw from the underside of the handle, using provided
wrench. Remove old handle. Loosen and remove old adapter screw
and remove the adapter. Discard old handle, old handle adapter, and
old screws.
Installing New Handle
Package contains 2 different adapters:
If you turn on your faucet using a
push/pull motion (Moentrol), use Adapter A (gray). If you turn on your
faucet by turning counterclockwise, use Adapter B (black).
3. Place new adapter (A or B) onto valve stem. Secure the adapter by
using screw (C).
4. Place new handle (D) over adapter, making sure handle
points downward.
5. Tighten handle with handle screw (E) from the underside of the handle
with the included hex/Allen wrench (F).
6. Turn on water supply to tub/shower and check for leaks.
Instrucciones
NOTA: Si tu bañera/ducha tiene un desviador con botón a presión
extendido, esta manija interferirá con el control del desviador. En su lugar,
usa la manija transparente.

Destornillador Phillips (no se incluye), llave
hexagonal (incluida)
Quitando la Manija Anterior
1. Cierra el suministro de agua al grifo.
2a.
Si vas a reemplazar la manija de plástico transparente
Levanta el botón indicador (un destornillador plano pequeño puede ser
útil) y luego retira el tornillo de la manija. Retira la manija antigua y la
arandela pequeña. Desecha la manija antigua, el tornillo de la manija
antigua y la arandela pequeña.
2b.
Si vas a reemplazar la manija con palanca de metal
Retira el tornillo hexagonal de la parte inferior de la manija, usando la
llave incluida. Retira la manija anterior. Afloja y retira el tornillo del
adaptador anterior y retira el adaptador. Desecha el la manija anterior,
el adaptador de manija anterior y los tornillos viejos.
Instalando la Manija Nueva
El paquete contiene 2 adaptadores diferentes:
Si abres tu grifo con movimientos de halar y empujar (Moentrol), usa el
adaptador A (gris). Si abres tu grifo girándolo en el sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj, usa el adaptador B (negro).
3. Coloca el nuevo adaptador (A o B) en el vástago de la válvula. Asegura
el adaptador con un tornillo (C).
4. Coloca la manija nueva (D) sobre el adaptador, asegurando que la manija
apunte hacia abajo.
5. Aprieta la manija con el tornillo de la manija (E) en la parte inferior de la
manija usando la llave hexagonal/Allen incluida (F).
6. Abre la entrada de agua a la bañera/el grifo y comprueba que no
haya fugas.
