Your watch may not have all of the features described below.

FEATURES

• IRONMAN TRIATHLON® watch with dual tech feature. This new

feature provides you with the option to turn off the digital display

providing a clean analog look.

pressing any button.

BASIC OPERATIONS — HOW YOUR WATCH WORKS

Select functions by repeatedly pressing the MODE button to cycle

through TIME, CHRONOGRAPH, TIMER, and ALARM modes. In any

mode, you can view the time by pressing the MODE button. Symbols

appear in the display to indicate what functions are active.

In each mode, press SET/RECALL to change values. Button functions

change when setting your watch. The watch face displays the new

functions. Press SET/RECALL (Done) to exit and return to the active

mode.

Pressing the INDIGLO® night-light button illuminates your watch face

for viewing the display in low light. When in NIGHT-MODE® feature,

pressing any button will illuminate watch display for 3-4 seconds

The INDIGLO® night-light ﬂashes and a melody plays whenever an

alert occurs, such as at end of a countdown. Press any button to stop

the alert.

Items in ( ) appear in display only while setting.

TIP: Hold + or – to change values rapidly.

CHRONOGRAPH — COUNT AND STORE YOUR LAPS/SPLITS

A. To operate the Chronograph, press MODE repeatedly until

CHRONO appears.

B. Press START/SPLIT to start the Chronograph. Press again to take

lap/split time. The primary display shows both the lap/split time for

10 seconds or until the MODE button is pressed.

C. Press STOP/RESET to stop timing. Press START/SPLIT to resume.

D. To recall your stored lap/split times while the Chrono is stopped or

running, press SET/RECALL and then +/ –repeatedly.

E. Press NEXT and +/ –to change display format between LAP/SPLIT

and SPLIT/LAP. Press DONE to exit.

F. While the Chrono is stopped, press and hold STOP/RESET to reset

the Chrono.

Chronograph continues to run if you exit mode. Stopwatch icon

appears in Time mode.

COUNTDOWN TIMER

A. To operate the Timer, press MODE repeatedly until TIMER appears.

Press NEXT to select HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS and STOP or

REPEAT AT END. Press +/ –to change settings. Press DONE to exit.

B. To set the timer, press and hold SET/RECALL. Timer must be stopped.

C. Press START/SPLIT to begin timing, STOP/RESET to stop, START/SPLIT

to resume.

D. With the TIMER stopped, press STOP/RESET to reset the Timer to

the beginning of the countdown time.

TIP: Watch beeps and night-light ﬂashes when countdown ends (timer

reaches zero). Press any button to silence. If REPEAT AT END is

selected, timer repeats countdown indeﬁnitely.Timer continues to

run if you exit mode; hourglass icon appears in Time mode.

Pull crown and turn to set HOUR and MINUTE hands.

DIGITAL TIME AND DATE, HOURLY CHIME, BUTTON BEEP

To turn the digital display on/off, press and hold STOP/RESET.

A. To set the time and date display, press and hold SET/RECALL. Press +

/ – to select TIME ZONE 1 or 2 to set.

B. Press NEXT repeatedly to select, in sequence, HOURS, MINUTES,

MONTH, DATE, time format (12-hour or 24-hour), date format (day-

month or month-day), HOURLY CHIME (on/off) and BUTTON BEEP

(on/off).

C. To change the values, press + / – repeatedly. Pressing + / – will set

SECONDS to zero. To select AM or PM, advance HOURS digits

through 12-hours (12-hour display format).

D. After setting the ﬁrst Time Zone, select the other Time Zone and

repeat the procedure to set the time for that zone.

E. Press DONE at any time to ﬁnish setting.

To view the other time zone, press START/SPLIT. Press and hold the

button to change display to the second time zone.

BATTERY

Timex strongly recommends that a retailer or jeweler replace battery.

If applicable, push reset button when replacing battery. Battery type is

indicated on caseback. Battery life estimates are based on certain

assumptions regarding usage; battery life may vary depending on actual

usage.

ALARM — NEVER MISS APPOINTMENTS OR EVENTS

A. To set the Alarm, press MODE repeatedly until ALARM appears.

Press and hold SET/RECALL. Press NEXT repeatedly to select

HOURS, MINUTES, AM or PM (in 12-hour time format), and alarm

frequency (DAILY, WEEKDAYS, or WEEKENDS). Press + / –to change

settings. Press DONE to exit.

B. In the Alarm mode, press +/ –to turn the Alarm on or off.

TIP: If no button is pressed when the Alarm time is reached, alert will

sound for 20 seconds and repeat once ﬁve minutes later.

Alarm Clock Icon appears when alarm is on in this mode and Time

mode.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT WITH NIGHT-MODE® FEATURE —

ALWAYS SEE IN THE DARK

Press INDIGLO® night-light to activate light. Patented (U.S. Patent

Numbers 4,527,096 and 4,775,964) electroluminescent technology used

in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates watch face at night and in low

light conditions. Press and hold button for three seconds (beep will

sound) to activate or de-activate NIGHT-MODE® feature. While in

NIGHT-MODE® feature, pressing any button illuminates watch display

for 3-4 seconds. NIGHT-MODE® feature automatically deactivates after

eight hours.

WATER & SHOCK RESISTANCE — YOUR WATCH IS TOUGH

1. Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and case

remain intact.

2. Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

3. Rinse watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.

4. Shock-resistance will be indicated on watch face or caseback. Watches

are designed to pass ISO test for shock-resistance. However, care

should be taken to avoid damaging crystal/lens.

OPÉRATIONS DE BASE — LE FONCTIONNEMENT

DE VOTRE MONTRE

Sélectionner les fonctions en appuyant plusieurs fois sur le bouton

MODE pour afﬁcher successivement les modes TIME (heure), CHRONO-

GRAPH (chronomètre), TIMER (minuterie) et ALARM (alarme). Dans tout

mode, appuyer sur le bouton MODE pour afﬁcher l’heure. Des symboles

apparaissent sur l’afﬁchage pour indiquer les fonctions actives.

Dans tout mode, appuyer sur SET/RECALL pour modiﬁer les valeurs. La

fonction des boutons varie lors du réglage de la montre. Le cadran de la

montre afﬁche les nouvelles fonctions. Appuyer sur SET/RECALL (Validé)

pour quitter et retourner au mode actif.

Appuyer sur le bouton de la veilleuse INDIGLO® illumine le cadran de la

montre et permet de lire l’afﬁchage dans la pénombre. Sous la fonction

NIGHT-MODE®, appuyer sur n’importe quel bouton pour illuminer

l’afﬁchage pendant 3 ou 4 secondes

La veilleuse INDIGLO® clignote et joue une mélodie chaque fois qu’une

alerte sonne, comme par exemple à la ﬁn d’une minuterie. Appuyer sur

n’importe quel bouton pour arrêter l’alerte.

Les éléments entre ( ) n’apparaissent dans l’afﬁchage qu’au moment du

réglage.

CONSEIL PRATIQUE : Tenir + ou – enfoncé pour changer les valeurs

rapidement.

LE CHRONOMÈTRE — COMPTE ET STOCKE LES TEMPS AU

TOUR/INTERMÉDIAIRES

A. Pour activer le chronomètre, appuyer sur MODE plusieurs fois jusqu’à

afﬁcher CHRONO.

B. Appuyer sur START/SPLIT pour démarrer le chronomètre. Appuyer de

nouveau pour enregistrer un temps au tour / intermédiaire.

L’afﬁchage principal indique les temps au tour / intermédiaires pen-

dant 10 secondes ou jusqu’à ce qu’on appuie sur le bouton MODE.

C. Appuyer sur STOP/RESET pour arrêter le chronométrage. Appuyer sur

START/SPLIT pour redémarrer.

D. Pour rappeler les temps au tour / intermédiaires stockés lorsque le

chronomètre est arrêté ou en marche, appuyer sur SET/RECALL puis

sur + / – plusieurs fois.

E. Appuyer sur NEXT et + / – pour alterner le format d’afﬁchage entre

LAP/SPLIT et SPLIT/LAP. Appuyer sur DONE pour quitter.

F. Lorsque le chronomètre est arrêté, tenir STOP/RESET enfoncé pour le

remettre à zéro.

Le chronomètre reste en marche lorsque vous quittez un mode. L’icone

du chronomètre s’afﬁche dans le mode Heure.

MINUTERIE

A. Pour activer la minuterie, appuyer sur MODE plusieurs fois jusqu’à

afﬁcher TIMER (minuterie). Appuyer sur NEXT pour sélectionner les

HEURES, les MINUTES, les SECONDES et STOP ou REPEAT AT THE END

(répéter à la ﬁn). Appuyer sur + / – pour modiﬁer le réglage. Appuyer

sur DONE pour quitter.

B. Pour régler la minuterie, tenir SET/RECALL enfoncé. La minuterie doit

être arrêtée.

C. Appuyer sur START/SPLIT pour mettre la minuterie en marche,

STOP/RESET pour arrêter, START/SPLIT pour redémarrer.

D. Lorsque TIMER (minuterie) est arrêtée, appuyer sur STOP/RESET pour

remettre la minuterie au début du compte à rebours.

CONSEIL PRATIQUE :La montre émet un bip et la veilleuse clignote

quand le compte à rebours se termine (la minute-

rie atteint zéro). Appuyer sur n’importe quel bou-

ton pour l’arrêter. Si REPEAT AT END (répéter à la

ﬁn) est sélectionné, la minuterie reprend le compte

à rebours indéﬁniment. La minuterie continue à

fonctionner lorsque vous quitter le mode ; l’icone

d’un sablier s’afﬁche dans le mode Heure.

PILE

Timex recommande fortement de faire changer la pile par un détail-

lant ou un bijoutier.Le cas échéant, appuyer sur le bouton de remise à

zéro lors du changement de la pile. Le type de pile est indiqué sur le dos

du boîtier. L’estimation de la durée de vie de la pile est basée sur cer-

taines hypothèses quant à l’usage ; la durée réelle peut varier selon l’u-

tilisation de la montre.

ALARME — VOUS NE MANQUEREZ JAMAIS UN

RENDEZ-VOUS OU UN ÉVÉNEMENT

A. Pour activer l’alarme, appuyer sur MODE plusieurs fois jusqu’à afﬁ-

cher ALARM. Tenir SET/RECALL enfoncé. Appuyer sur NEXT plusieurs

fois pour sélectionner les HEURES, les MINUTES, AM (matin) ou PM

(soir) (format d’afﬁchage sur 12 heures) et la fréquence de l’alarme

(QUOTIDIENNE, JOURS DE LA SEMAINE ou WEEK-ENDS). Appuyer sur

+ / – pour modiﬁer le réglage. Appuyer sur DONE pour quitter.

B. En mode Alarme, appuyer sur + / – pour activer ou désactiver l’alarme

(on/off).

CONSEIL PRATIQUE : Si on n’appuie sur aucun bouton à l’heure prévue

pour le déclenchement de l’alarme, elle sonne

pendant 20 secondes et émet une alerte de rap-

pel au bout de cinq minutes.

L’icone d’un réveil s’afﬁche lorsque l’alarme est dans ce mode et

dans le mode Heure.

LA VEILLEUSE INDIGLO® AVEC LA FONCTION

NIGHT-MODE® — VOYEZ TOUJOURS DANS L’OBSCURITÉ

Enfoncer le bouton de la veilleuse INDIGLO® pour activer l’éclairage. La

technologie électroluminescente brevetée (brevets américains n°

4,527,096 et 4,775,964) utilisée dans la veilleuse INDIGLO® permet d’illu-

miner le cadran de la montre la nuit et dans des conditions de faible

éclairage. Tenir le bouton enfoncé pendant trois secondes (jusqu’au bip

ÉTANCHÉITÉ ET RÉSISTANCE AUX CHOCS— VOTRE MONTRE

EST RÉSISTANTE

1. La montre est étanche aussi longtemps que le verre, les boutons et le

boîtier sont intacts.

2. La montre n’est pas conçue pour la plongée. Ne pas l’utiliser dans ces

conditions.

3. Rincer à l’eau douce après tout contact avec l’eau de mer.

4. La résistance aux chocs est indiquée sur le cadran de la montre ou sur

le dos du boîtier. Les montres sont conçues pour se conformer à l’essai

de choc ISO. Toutefois, prendre garde à éviter d’endommager le

verre/cristal.

HEURE ET DATE NUMÉRIQUES, CARILLON HORAIRE, BOUTON BIP

Pour activer ou désactiver l’afﬁchage numérique, tenez STOP/RESET enfoncé.

A. Pour régler l’afﬁchage de l’heure et de la date, tenir SET/RECALL enfoncé.

Appuyer sur + / – pour sélectionner le FUSEAU HORAIRE 1 ou 2.

B. Appuyer sur NEXT plusieurs fois pour sélectionner successivement les

HEURES, les MINUTES, la DATE, l’afﬁchage de l’heure sur 12 ou 24

heures, le format (jour-mois ou mois-jour), la mise en marche ou

l’arrêt (on/off) du CARILLON HORAIRE et la mise en marche ou l’arrêt

(on/off) du BOUTON BIP.

C. Pour modiﬁer les valeurs, appuyer sur + / – plusieurs fois. Appuyer sur

+ / – pour remettre les SECONDES à zéro. Pour sélectionner AM

(matin) ou PM (soir), faire avancer les chiffres des HEURES jusqu’à 12

heures (format d’afﬁchage 12 heures).

D. Après avoir réglé le premier fuseau horaire, sélectionner le deuxième

et répéter la procédure pour régler l’heure dans ce fuseau.

E. Appuyer sur DONE (Validé) à tout moment pour terminer le réglage.

Pour afﬁcher l’autre fuseau horaire, appuyer sur START/SPLIT. Continuer

à tenir le bouton enfoncé pour afﬁcher le deuxième fuseau horaire.

OPERACIONES BÁSICAS —CÓMO FUNCIONA SU RELOJ

Seleccione las funciones pulsando varias veces el botón MODE para

desplazarse por los modos TIME (hora), CHRONOGRAPH (cronógrafo),

TIMER (temporizador) y ALARM (alarma). En cualquier modo, puede

ver la hora pulsando el botón MODE. Los símbolos aparecen en el visor

para indicar cuáles funciones están activas.

En cualquier modo, presione SET/RECALL para cambiar los valores. Las

funciones del botón cambian mientras ajusta su reloj. El reloj muestra

EL CRONÓGRAFO— CUENTA Y GUARDA

SUS VUELTAS/INTERVALOS

A. Para hacer funcionar el cronógrafo, pulse MODE varias veces hasta

que CHRONO aparezca.

B. Pulse START/SPLIT para iniciar el cronógrafo. Pulse de nuevo para

tomar un tiempo de vuelta/intervalo. El visor principal muestra a la

vez el tiempo de vuelta/intervalo por 10 segundos o hasta que se

pulse el botón MODE.

C. Pulse STOP/RESET para detener el cronometraje. Pulse START/SPLIT

para reanudarlo.

D. Para revisar sus tiempos de vuelta/intervalos con el cronógrafo

funcionando o detenido, pulseSET/RECALL y luego +/ –varias veces.

E. Pulse NEXT y +/ –para cambiar el formato del visor entre

VUELTA/INTERVALO e INTERVALO/VUELTA. Pulse DONE para salir.

F. Con el cronógrafo detenido, pulse y sostenga STOP/RESET para reiniciarlo.

El cronógrafo seguirá funcionando cuando salga del modo. El símbolo

de cronómetro aparece en el modo horario.

Tire de la corona y gírela para ajustar las manecillas de HORAS y MINUTOS.

FECHA Y HORA DIGITAL, TIMBRE DE HORA,

Para encender/apagar el visor digital, pulse y sostenga STOP/RESET.

A. Para ajustar la hora y fecha, pulse y sostenga SET/RECALL. Pulse

+/ –para seleccionar la ZONA HORARIA 1 o 2 que se va a ajustar.

B. Pulse NEXT varias veces para seleccionar, en secuencia, HORAS,

MINUTOS, MES, FECHA, formato de hora (de 12 o 24 horas),

formato de fecha (día-mes o mes-día), TIMBRE DE HORA

(encender/apagar) y SEÑAL ACÚSTICA (encender/apagar).

C. Para cambiar los valores, pulse +/ –varias veces. Pulsando +/ –los

SEGUNDOS serán puestos a cero. Para seleccionar AM o PM, avance

los dígitos de HORAS hasta las 12 (visor en formato de 12 horas).

D. Después de ajustar la primera zona horaria, seleccione la otra zona

horaria y repita el procedimiento para ﬁjar la hora en esa zona.

E. Pulse DONE en cualquier momento para ﬁnalizar el ajuste.

Para ver la otra zona horaria, pulse START/SPLIT. Pulse y sostenga el

botón para cambiar el visor a la segunda zona horaria.

PILA

Timex recomienda encarecidamente que un minorista o un joyero

cambien la pila. Si procede, pulse el botón de restablecimiento cuando

cambie la pila. El tipo de pila se indica al respaldo de la caja. Las esti-

maciones de duración de la pila se basan en ciertas suposiciones rela-

cionadas con el uso; la duración de la pila puede variar dependiendo

del uso real.

NO TIRE LA PILA AL FUEGO. NO LA RECARGUE. MANTENGA LAS PILAS

LA ALARMA — JAMÁS OLVIDA UNA CITA O ACONTECIMIENTO

A. Para hacer funcionar la alarma, pulse MODE varias veces hasta que

ALARM aparezca. Pulse y sostenga SET/RECALL. Pulse NEXT varias

veces para seleccionar HORAS, MINUTOS, AM o PM (en el formato

de 12 horas), y la frecuencia de la alarma (DIARIA, SEMANAL o

FINES DE SEMANA). Pulse +/ –para cambiar el ajuste. Pulse DONE

para salir.

B. En el modo alarma, pulse +/ –para encender o apagar la alarma.

IDEA: Si no se pulsa botón alguno a la hora establecida para la alar-

ma, sonará una alerta por 20 segundos y se repetirá cinco minu-

tos después.

El símbolo del reloj de alarma aparece cuando la alarma está acti-

vada en este modo y en el modo horario.

LUZ NOCTURNA INDIGLO® CON NIGHT-MODE® — SIEMPRE SE

VE EN LA OSCURIDAD

Pulse la luz nocturna INDIGLO® para activar la luz. La tecnología elec-

troluminiscente patentada (patentes de EE.UU. 4.527.096 y 4.775.964)

utilizada en la luz nocturna INDIGLO® ilumina la cara del reloj por la

noche y en condiciones de poca luz. Pulse y sostenga el botón durante

RESISTENCIA AL AGUA & GOLPES — SU RELOJ ES SÓLIDO

1. El reloj es resistente al agua solamente mientras el cristal, los

2. El reloj no es apropiado para hacer submarinismo y no debería uti-

lizarse para ello.

3. Enjuague el reloj con agua fresca después de haber estado expuesto

TEMPORIZADOR DE CUENTA REGRESIVA

A. Para hacer funcionar el temporizador, pulse MODE varias veces

hasta que TIMER aparezca. Pulse NEXT para seleccionar HORAS,

MINUTOS, SEGUNDOS y PARAR o REPETIR AL FINAL. Pulse +/ –para

cambiar el ajuste. Pulse DONE para salir.

B. Para ajustar el Temporizador, pulse y sostenga SET/RECALL.

El temporizador debe estar detenido.

C. Pulse START/SPLIT para comenzar el conteo, STOP/RESET para

IDEA: El reloj emite un sonido y las luz nocturna destella cuando

OPERAÇÕES BÁSICAS — COMO O RELÓGIO FUNCIONA

Seleccione as funções carregando repetidamente no botão MODE a

ﬁm de percorrer os modos TIME (HORA), CHRONOGRAPH

(CRONÓMETRO), TIMER (TEMPORIZADOR) e ALARM (ALARME). Em

qualquer um dos modos, pode ver as horas carregando no botão

MODE. No mostrador são apresentados símbolos para indicar quais as

funções que se encontram activas.

Em cada um dos modos, carregue no botão SET/RECALL para mudar os

valores. As funções dos botões alteram-se durante a regulação do reló-

gio. O mostrador do relógio apresenta as novas funções. Carregue no

botão SET/RECALL (Done) para sair e voltar ao modo activo.

Carregando no botão da luz nocturna INDIGLO®, o mostrador do relógio

ilumina-se para permitir ver o mostrador em condições de fraca luminosi-

dade. Quando a função NIGHT-MODE® está activa, carregando em qual-

quer botão ilumina o mostrador durante 3 a 4 segundos

A luz nocturna INDIGLO® pisca, e ouve-se uma melodia, sempre que

ocorre uma situação de alerta, como por exemplo chegar ao ﬁm de uma

contagem decrescente. Carregue em qualquer botão para parar o alerta.

Os itens entre ( ) só aparecem no mostrador durante a regulação das

funções.

CRONÓMETRO — CRONOMETRE E ARMAZENE OS TEMPOS DE

VOLTAS/TEMPOS REPARTIDOS

A. Para operar o cronómetro, carregue repetidamente no botão MODE

até aparecer a indicação CHRONO.

B. Carregue no botão START/SPLIT para iniciar o cronómetro. Carregue

novamente para tomar os tempos de voltas/tempos repartidos. O

mostrador principal apresenta os tempos de voltas/tempos

repartidos durante 10 segundos ou até carregar no botão MODE.

C. Carregue no botão STOP/RESET para parar a contagem do tempo.

Carregue no botão START/SPLIT para continuar.

D. Para evocar os tempos de voltas/tempos repartidos armazenados,

quando o cronómetro está parado ou em funcionamento, carregue

no botão SET/RECALL e a seguir no botão +/ –repetidamente.

E. Carregue no botão NEXT e em +/ –para alterar o formato do

mostrador entre LAP/SPLIT e SPLIT/LAP (VOLTAS/TEMPOS

REPARTIDOS e vice-versa). Carregue no botão DONE para sair.

F. Com o cronómetro parado, carregue e segure no botão STOP/RESET

para levar o cronómetro a zero.

O cronómetro continua a funcionar mesmo se sair deste modo.

No modo Hora é apresentado o ícone do cronómetro .

TEMPORIZADOR DE CONTAGEM DECRESCENTE

A. Para operar o temporizador, carregue repetidamente no botão

MODE até aparecer a indicação TIMER. Carregue no botão NEXT

para seleccionar HOURS (HORAS), MINUTES (MINUTOS), SECONDS

(SEGUNDOS) e STOP (PARAR) ou REPEAT (REPETIR) AT END (NO FIM

DA CONTAGEM). Carregue no botão +/ –para mudar os valores.

Carregue no botão DONE para sair.

B. Para regular o temporizador, carregue e segure no botão

SET/RECALL. O temporizador tem de estar parado.

C. Carregue no botão START/SPLIT para iniciar a contagem do tempo,

STOP/RESET para parar, START/SPLIT para continuar.

D. Com o temporizador parado, carregue no botão STOP/RESET para

repor o temporizador no início do tempo de contagem decrescente.

SUGESTÃO: Quando a contagem decrescente chega ao ﬁm (o tempo-

rizador atinge o valor zero) ouve-se um sinal sonoro e a a luz nocturna

pisca. Carregue em qualquer botão para silenciar. Se tiver seleccionado

REPEAT AT END (REPETIR NO FIM DA CONTAGEM), o temporizador

repete indeﬁnidamente a contagem decrescente. O temporizador

continua a funcionar mesmo se sair desse modo; no modo Hora

aparece o ícone de uma ampulheta .

HORA ANALÓGICA

Puxe a coroa para fora e rode-a para regular os ponteiros das HORAS

e dos MINUTOS.

DATA E HORA DIGITAIS, SINAL HORÁRIO, BIP DOS BOTÕES

Para ligar e desligar o mostrador digital, carregue e segure no botão

STOP/RESET.

A. Para regular a data e a hora, carregue e segure no botão

SET/RECALL. Carregue no botão +/ –para seleccionar TIME ZONE

(FUSO HORÁRIO) 1 ou 2.

B. Carregue repetidamente no botão NEXT (SEGUINTE) para

seleccionar, em sequência, HOURS (HORAS), MINUTES (MINUTOS),

MONTH (MÊS), DATE (DATA), formato da hora (12 ou 24 horas),

formato da data (dia-mês ou mês-dia), HOURLY CHIME (SINAL

HORÁRIO) (ligado/desligado) e BUTTON BEEP (BIP DOS BOTÕES)

(ligado/desligado).

C. Para mudar os valores, carregue repetidamente em +/ –. Carregue

em +/ –para levar os SEGUNDOS a zero. Para seleccionar AM ou

PM, avance os dígitos das HORAS (HOURS) para além das 12 horas

(formato das 12 horas).

D. Depois de regular o primeiro fuso horário, seleccione o outro Fuso Horário

e repita o procedimento para regular a hora para esse fuso horário.

E. Carregue no botão DONE (EFECTUADO) em qualquer momento para

dar a regulação por concluída.

Para ver os valores do outro fuso horário, carregue no botão

START/SPLIT. Carregue e segure no botão para mudar o mostrador

para o segundo fuso horário.

PILHA

A Timex recomenda vivamente que a pilha seja substituída por um

retalhista ou relojoeiro. Se for necessário, carregue no botão “reset”

caixa do relógio. A duração da pilha é estimada assumindo certas

características de uso; a duração da pilha variará, dependendo do

seu uso real.

CRONOGRAFO — PER CRONOMETRARE E MEMORIZZARE

I TEMPI DI GIRO/INTERMEDI

A. Per usare il cronografo, premere ripetutamente MODE ﬁnché non

appare la parola CHRONO.

B. Premere START/SPLIT per avviare il cronografo. Premerlo di nuovo

per cronometrare tempi di giro/intermedi. Il display principale

mostra il tempo di giro/intermedio per 10 secondi o ﬁnché non si

preme il pulsante MODE.

C. Premere STOP/RESET per interrompere il cronometraggio. Premere

START/SPLIT per farlo riprendere.

D. Per richiamare i tempi di giro/intermedi memorizzati mentre il

cronografo è fermo o sta scorrendo, premere SET/RECALL e poi

ripetutamente + / –.

E. Premere NEXT e + / – per cambiare il formato del display passando

fra LAP/SPLIT (GIRO/INTERMEDIO) e SPLIT/LAP (INTERMEDIO/GIRO).

Premere DONE per uscire.

F. Mentre il cronografo è fermo, premere e tenere premuto

STOP/RESET per azzerare il cronografo.

Il cronografo continua a scorrere quando si esce dalla modalità. L’icona

TIMER PER CONTO ALLA ROVESCIA

A. Per usare il timer, premere ripetutamente MODE ﬁnché non appare

B. Per impostare il timer, premere e tenere premuto SET/RECALL.

Il timer deve essere fermo.

C. Premere START/SPLIT per iniziare il cronometraggio, STOP/RESET

per fermarlo, START/SPLIT per riprenderlo.

D. Con il TIMER fermo, premere STOP/RESET per ripristinare il timer

all’inizio del periodo di conto alla rovescia.

CONSIGLIO: l’orologio emette un segnale acustico e l’illuminazione

del quadrante lampeggia al termine del conto alla rovescia (quando il

timer raggiunge lo zero). Premere un pulsante qualsiasi per silenziare

l’allarme. Se è selezionato REPEAT AT END (ripeti alla ﬁne), il timer

ripete il conto alla rovescia indeﬁnitamente.Il timer continua a

scorrere se si esce dalla modalità; l’icona della clessidra appare nella

modalità Ora.

Estrarre la corona e girarla per impostare le lancette delle ORE e dei MINUTI.

Per attivare/disattivare il display digitale, premere e tenere premuto

STOP/RESET.

A. Per impostare la visualizzazione di ora e data, premere e tenere

premuto SET/RECALL. Premere + / – per selezionare FUSO ORARIO

1o 2 (TIME ZONE 1 o 2).

B. Premere ripetutamente NEXT per selezionare, in sequenza, ORE,

MINUTI, MESE, DATA, formato dell’ora (a 12 o 24 ore), formato

della data (giorno-mese o mese-giorno), SEGNALE ACUSTICO

ORARIO (acceso/spento) e SEGNALE ACUSTICO A PULSANTE

(acceso/spento).

C. Per cambiare i valori, premere ripetutamente + / –. Premendo + / – si

impostano i SECONDI sullo zero. Per selezionare AM (mattina) o PM

(sera), fare avanzare le cifre delle ORE attraverso le 12 ore (formato

della visualizzazione a 12 ore).

D. Dopo aver impostato il primo fuso orario, selezionare l’altro fuso

orario e ripetere la procedura per impostare l’ora in quel fuso.

E. Premere DONE in qualsiasi momento per terminare l’operazione di

impostazione.

Per visualizzare l’altro fuso orario, premere START/SPLIT. Premere e tenere

premuto il pulsante per far passare il display al secondo fuso orario.

BATTERIA

La Timex raccomanda caldamente di portare l’orologio da un det-

tagliante o un gioielliere per far cambiare la batteria. Se applicabile, pre-

mere il pulsante di ripristino quando si sostituisce la batteria. Il tipo di

batteria necessario è indicato sul retro della cassa. Le stime sulla durata

della batteria si basano su determinati presupposti relativi all’uso; la

FUNZIONI DI BASE— COME SI USA L’OROLOGIO

Selezionare le funzioni premendo ripetutamente il pulsante MODE per

passare in rassegna le modalità ORA, CRONOGRAFO, TIMER e SVEGLIA. In

qualsiasi modalità, si può visualizzare l’ora premendo il pulsante MODE.

Sul display appaiono simboli che indicano quali funzioni sono attive.

Da ciascuna modalità, premere SET/RECALL per cambiare i valori. Le

funzioni dei pulsanti cambiano quando si imposta l’orologio. Il qua-

drante dell’orologio visualizza le nuove funzioni. Premere SET/RECALL

(Done) per uscire e ritornare alla modalità attiva.

Premendo il pulsante di illuminazione del quadrante INDIGLO® night-light

si illumina il quadrante dell’orologio per poter vedere il display in con-

dizioni di scarsa luminosità. Quando è attiva la funzione NIGHT-MODE®,

premendo un pulsante qualsiasi si illumina il display per 3-4 secondi.

Ogni volta che scatta un segnale di avviso, come ad esempio al

termine di un conto alla rovescia, l’illuminazione del quadrante

INDIGLO® lampeggia e viene riprodotta una melodia. Per silenziare il

segnale di avviso, premere un pulsante qualsiasi.

WERKING — HOE HET HORLOGE WERKT

Selecteer functies door herhaaldelijk op de knop MODE te drukken om

de modi TIJD, CHRONOGRAAF, TIMER en ALARM te doorlopen. In

iedere modus kunt u de tijd zien door op de knop MODE te drukken.

Er verschijnen symbolen op het display om aan te geven welke

functies actief zijn.

Druk in elke modus op SET/RECALL (INSTELLEN/TERUGROEPEN) om

waarden te veranderen. De knopfuncties veranderen wanneer het

horloge wordt ingesteld. De wijzerplaat van het horloge geeft de

nieuwe functies weer. Druk op SET/RECALL (Done, Voltooid) om af te

sluiten en naar de actieve modus terug te gaan.

Druk op de knop van het INDIGLO® nachtlicht om de wijzerplaat van

het horloge te kunnen zien wanneer er weinig licht is. In de functie

NIGHT-MODE® kunt u op een willekeurige knop drukken om het

display van het horloge 3-4 seconden te verlichten.

Het INDIGLO® nachtlicht knippert en er klinkt een melodietje wanneer

er een waarschuwing is, zoals aan het einde van het aftellen. Druk op

om het even welke knop om de waarschuwingstoon te stoppen.

Items tussen haakjes verschijnen alleen tijdens het instellen op het display.

TIP: Houd +of –ingedrukt om de waarden snel te veranderen.

CHRONOGRAAF — RONDE/TUSSENTIJDEN TELLEN

EN OPSLAAN

A. Druk om de chronograaf te bedienen herhaaldelijk op MODE totdat

CHRONO verschijnt.

B. Druk op START/SPLIT om de chronograaf te starten. Druk er

nogmaals op om een ronde- of tussentijd op te nemen. Op het

primaire display wordt zowel de ronde- als tussentijd 10 seconden

lang weergegeven of totdat op de knop MODE wordt gedrukt.

C. Druk op STOP/RESET om de tijdopname te stoppen. Druk op

START/SPLIT om te hervatten.

D. Als u uw opgeslagen ronde-/tussentijden wilt terugroepen terwijl

de chronograaf stilstaat of loopt, drukt u op SET/RECALL en

vervolgens herhaaldelijk op +/ –.

E. Druk op NEXT en +/ –om de weergave-indeling om te schakelen

tussen LAP/SPLIT (Ronde-/tussentijd) en SPLIT/LAP (Tussen-/rondetijd).

Druk op DONE om af te sluiten.

F. Terwijl de chronograaf stilstaat, houdt u STOP/RESET ingedrukt om

de chronograaf terug te stellen.

De chronograaf blijft lopen wanneer u de modus afsluit.

Stopwatchpictogram verschijnt in de tijdmodus.

A. Druk om de timer te bedienen herhaaldelijk op MODE totdat TIMER

SECONDS (Seconden) en STOP of REPEAT AT END (Herhalen aan

einde) te selecteren. Druk op +/ –om de instellingen te veran-

deren. Druk op DONE om af te sluiten.

B. Houd SET/RECALL ingedrukt om de timer in te stellen. De timer

moet stilstaan.

C. Druk op START/SPLIT om de tijdopname te beginnen, op

STOP/RESET om te stoppen, op START/SPLIT om te hervatten.

D. Terwijl de TIMER stilstaat, drukt u op STOP/RESET om de timer op

het begin van de afteltijd terug te stellen.

TIP: Het horloge geeft een signaal en het nachtlicht knippert wanneer

het aftellen is geëindigd (timer staat op nul). Druk op om het

even welke knop om de pieptoon te stoppen. Als REPEAT AT END

is geselecteerd, herhaalt de timer het aftellen een onbepaald

aantal malen.De timer blijft lopen als u de modus afsluit; een

zandloperpictogram verschijnt in de tijdmodus.

ANALOGE TIJD

Trek aan de kroon en draai hem om de UUR- en MINUUT-wijzers in te stellen.

DIGITALE TIJD EN DATUM, UURSIGNAAL, KNOPSIGNAAL

Houd STOP/RESET ingedrukt om het digitale display aan of uit te zetten.

A. Houd SET/RECALL ingedrukt om het tijd- en datumdisplay in te stellen.

Druk op +/ –om TIJDZONE 1 of 2 te selecteren om deze in te stellen.

B. Druk herhaaldelijk op NEXT (Volgende) om, in deze volgorde, UREN,

MINUTEN, MAAND, DATUM, tijdsindeling (12-urig of 24-urig),

datumindeling (dag-maand of maand-dag), UURSIGNAAL (aan/uit)

en KNOPTOON (aan/uit) te selecteren.

C. Druk herhaaldelijk op +/ –om de waarden te veranderen. Wanneer

u op +/ –drukt, worden de SECONDEN op nul ingesteld. Doorloop

12 uur met de UREN-cijfers om AM of PM te selecteren (12-urige

weergave-indeling).

D. Selecteer, nadat u de eerste tijdzone hebt ingesteld, de andere tijd-

zone en herhaal de procedure om de tijd voor die zone in te stellen.

E. Druk op elk gewenst moment op DONE om het instellen te beëindigen.

Druk op START/SPLIT om de andere tijdzone te bekijken. Houd de knop

ingedrukt om het display naar de tweede tijdzone over te schakelen.

BATTERIJ

Timex raadt ten sterkste aan om de batterij door een winkelier of

juwelier te laten vervangen. Druk, indien van toepassing, op de terug-

stelknop wanneer u de batterij vervangt. Het type batterij vindt u aan

de achterkant van de behuizing. De geschatte levensduur van de bat-

terij is op bepaalde veronderstellingen met betrekking tot het gebruik

gebaseerd; de levensduur van de batterij varieert al naargelang het

werkelijke gebruik.

DE BATTERIJ NIET IN HET VUUR WEGGOOIEN. NIET OPLADEN. LOSSE

BATTERIJEN UIT DE BUURT VAN KINDEREN HOUDEN.

ALARM — NOOIT EEN AFSPRAAK OF GEBEURTENIS MISSEN

A. Druk om het alarm in te stellen herhaaldelijk op MODE totdat

ALARM verschijnt. Houd SET/RECALL ingedrukt. Druk herhaaldelijk

op NEXT om UREN, MINUTEN, AM of PM (in 12-urige tijdsindeling),

en alarmfrequentie (DAGELIJKS, WEEKDAGEN of WEEKENDS) te

selecteren. Druk op +/ –om de instellingen te veranderen. Druk op

DONE om af te sluiten.

B. Druk terwijl u in de modus Alarm bent op +/ –om het alarm aan

of uit te zetten.

TIP: Als er niet op een knop wordt gedrukt wanneer de alarmtijd is

bereikt, gaat het alarm gedurende 20 seconden af en wordt het

vijf minuten later eenmaal herhaald.

Alarmklokpictogram verschijnt wanneer het alarm is ingeschakeld

in deze modus en de tijdmodus.

INDIGLO® NACHTLICHT MET DE FUNCTIE NIGHT-MODE® —

ALTIJD IN HET DONKER ZIEN

Druk op het INDIGLO® nachtlicht om het licht in te schakelen. De in

het INDIGLO® nachtlicht gebruikte, gepatenteerde elektroluminescen-

tietechnologie (Amerikaanse octrooinummers 4,527,096 en 4,775,964)

verlicht de wijzerplaat van het horloge 's nachts en wanneer er weinig

licht is. Houd de knop drie seconden ingedrukt (u hoort een pieptoon)

om de functie NIGHT-MODE® in of uit te schakelen. In de functie

NIGHT-MODE® kunt u op een willekeurige knop drukken om het dis-

play van het horloge 3-4 seconden te verlichten. De functie NIGHT-

MODE® wordt na acht uur automatisch gedeactiveerd.

WATERBESTENDIGHEID EN SCHOKVASTHEID — HET

HORLOGE IS STERK

1. Het horloge is alleen waterdicht zo lang het glas, de drukknoppen

en de behuizing intact blijven.

2. Het horloge is geen duikershorloge en mag niet voor duiken

worden gebruikt.

3. Spoel het horloge met zoet water af nadat het aan zout water is

blootgesteld.

4. De schokvastheid wordt op de wijzerplaat of de achterkant van de

behuizing aangegeven. De horloges zijn zodanig ontworpen dat ze

aan de ISO-test voor schokvastheid voldoen. Beschadiging van het

horlogeglas moet echter worden vermeden.

BATTERIE

Timex empﬁehlt dringend, die Batterie nur von einem Händler oder

Juwelier auswechseln zu lassen. Nach Batterieaustausch ggf. den

Batterietyp angegeben. Die Lebensdauer der Batterie wird aufgrund

WASSERBESTÄNDIGKEIT UND STOSSFESTIGKEIT

— IHRE UHR IST ROBUST

aktivieren.

B. START/SPLIT drücken, um Stoppuhr zu starten. Nochmals drücken,

um Runden/Zwischenzeit aufzuzeichnen. Die Hauptanzeige zeigt

beide Messungen für Runden/Zwischenzeit für 10 Sekunden,

oder bis MODE gedrückt wird.

C. STOP/RESET drücken, um Zeitmessung zu beenden. Weiter mit

START/SPLIT.

D. Zum Einsehen der gespeicherten Runden-/Zwischenzeiten bei

laufender oder ausgestellter Stoppuhr SET/RECALL drücken und

danach wiederholt + / –.

E. NEXT drücken, dann + / –, um vom Anzeigeformat LAP/SPLIT auf

SPLIT/LAP zu wechseln. DONE drücken, um Vorgang zu beenden.

F. Wenn die Zeitmessung beendet ist, STOP/RESET drücken und halten,

um Stoppuhr wieder einzustellen.

Stoppuhr läuft weiter, wenn Modus verlassen wird.

BASIC OPERATIONS — HOW YOUR WATCH WORKS

Select functions by repeatedly pressing the MODE button to cycle through TIME, CHRONO-

GRAPH, TIMER, and ALARM modes. In any mode, you can view the time by pressing the

MODE button. Symbols appear in the display to indicate what functions are active.

In each mode, press SET/RECALL to change values. Button functions change when setting

your watch. The watch face displays the new functions. Press SET/RECALL (Done) to exit and

return to the active mode.

Pressing the INDIGLO® night-light button illuminates your watch face for viewing the dis-

play in low light. When in NIGHT-MODE® feature, pressing any button will illuminate watch

display for 3-4 seconds

The INDIGLO® night-light ﬂashes and a melody plays whenever an alert occurs, such as at

end of a countdown. Press any button to stop the alert.

Items in ( ) appear in display only while setting.

TIP: Hold +or –to change values rapidly.

CHRONOGRAPH — COUNT AND STORE YOUR LAPS/SPLITS

A. To operate the Chronograph, press MODE repeatedly until CHRONO appears.

B. Press START/SPLIT to start the Chronograph. Press again to take lap/split time. The

primary display shows both the lap/split time for 10 seconds or until the MODE button is

pressed.

C. Press STOP/RESET to stop timing. Press START/SPLIT to resume.

SET/RECALL and then + / –repeatedly.

E. Press NEXT and + / –to change display format between LAP/SPLIT and SPLIT/LAP. Press

F. While the Chrono is stopped, press and hold STOP/RESET to reset the Chrono.

Chronograph continues to run if you exit mode. Stopwatch icon appears in Time mode.

A. To operate the Timer, press MODE repeatedly until TIMER appears. Press NEXT to select

HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS and STOP or REPEAT AT END. Press + / –to change settings.

B. To set the timer, press and hold SET/RECALL. Timer must be stopped.

C. Press START/SPLIT to begin timing, STOP/RESET to stop, START/SPLIT to resume.

D. With the TIMER stopped, press STOP/RESET to reset the Timer to the beginning of the

countdown time.

To turn the digital display on/off, press and hold STOP/RESET.

ZONE 1 or 2 to set.

B. Press NEXT repeatedly to select, in sequence, HOURS, MINUTES, MONTH, DATE, time

format (12-hour or 24-hour), date format (day-month or month-day), HOURLY CHIME

(on/off) and BUTTON BEEP (on/off).

C. To change the values, press + / –repeatedly. Pressing + / –will set SECONDS to zero.

To select AM or PM, advance HOURS digits through 12-hours (12-hour display format).

D. After setting the ﬁrst Time Zone, select the other Time Zone and repeat the procedure to

set the time for that zone.

E. Press DONE at any time to ﬁnish setting.

To view the other time zone, press START/SPLIT. Press and hold the button to change

display to the second time zone.

ton when replacing battery. Battery type is indicated on caseback. Battery life estimates are based

on certain assumptions regarding usage; battery life may vary depending on actual usage.

ALARM — NEVER MISS APPOINTMENTS OR EVENTS

A. To set the Alarm, press MODE repeatedly until ALARM appears. Press and hold

SET/RECALL. Press NEXT repeatedly to select HOURS, MINUTES, AM or PM (in 12-hour

time format), and alarm frequency (DAILY, WEEKDAYS, or WEEKENDS). Press + / –to

change settings. Press DONE to exit.

B. In the Alarm mode, press + / –to turn the Alarm on or off.

TIP: If no button is pressed when the Alarm time is reached, alert will sound for 20 seconds

and repeat once ﬁve minutes later.

Alarm Clock Icon appears when alarm is on in this mode and Time mode.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT WITH NIGHT-MODE® FEATURE — ALWAYS SEE IN THE DARK

Press INDIGLO® night-light to activate light. Patented (U.S. Patent Numbers 4,527,096 and

4,775,964) electroluminescent technology used in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates

watch face at night and in low light conditions. Press and hold button for three seconds

(beep will sound) to activate or de-activate NIGHT-MODE® feature. While in NIGHT-MODE®

feature, pressing any button illuminates watch display for 3-4 seconds. NIGHT-MODE®

feature automatically deactivates after eight hours.

1. Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and case remain intact.

2. Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

3. Rinse watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.

4. Shock-resistance will be indicated on watch face or caseback. Watches are designed to pass ISO

test for shock-resistance. However, care should be taken to avoid damaging crystal/lens.
