1. Locate water filter and remove the existing
filter by rotating it counter clockwise.
2. Remove packaging and carefully remove
the sanitary cap from the top of the new
filter; twisting eases the plug out.
3. Align the start arrow on the water filter with
the arrow on the refrigerator filter housing.
4. Rotate water filter clockwise into
refrigerator housing a full ¼ turn. This is
required to activate the internal valve
inside of the refrigerator. If the filter is not
fully engaged, the valve will not open all
the way and may cause a slow water flow
or cause the valve to make a chattering
noise while in use.
5. Run approximately 2.5 gallons of water
from the dispenser periodically to clear the
system and to receive a good flow. If the
water flow is slower than usual, please
repeat Steps 3 and 4.
Note: Initial flow rate may be slower than expected.
Full flow rate should be restored within 24-36 hours.
6. Check the filter for any noticable leaks. If
leaks are detected, please repeat Steps 3
and 4.
7. To reset the filter monitor light; please refer
to your refrigerator owner’s manual for
specific instructions.

existente girando en sentido contrario a
las agujas del reloj.
2. Retira el empaque y el tapón sanitario del
nuevo filtro; girar el tapón facilitará su
salida.
3. Alinee la flecha de inicio en el filtro de
agua con la flecha en la carcasa del filtro
nevera.
4. Gire el filtro de agua en la carcasa del
refrigerador un completo cuarto de vuelta.
Esto es necesario para activar la válvula
interna en el interior del refrigerador. Si el
filtro no está completamente instalado, la
válvula no se abrirá completamente y
puede experimentar un flujo lento o un
ruido de vibración durante uso.
5. Descarga aproximadamente 2,5 litros de
agua del dispensador periódicamente para
aclarar el sistema y para recibir un buen
flujo. Si el flujo de agua es más lento de lo
habitual, por favor, repita pasos 3 y 4.
Nota: Flujo inicial puede ser más lenta de lo esperado.
Flujo total se debe restaurar dentro de 24-36 horas.
6. Inspecciona el filtro de flujas. Si se
detectan fugas, por favor, repita pasos 3 y
4.
7. Para restablecer la luz de control del filtro,
consulte el manual del propietario de su
refrigerador para obtener instrucciones
específicas.

Warning: To reduce the risk of property damage from water leakage, the
filter bypass plug MUST be used when a filter replacement cartridge is not
installed. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Protect from freezing. REPLACE FILTER EVERY 6 MONTHS, OR IF BAD
TASTE OR ODOR OCCURS. The risk associated with small parts can cause
choking if swallowed. Keep children away from small parts during the
replacement of the water filter.
