Steriliser / carrying case
This steriliser / carrying case allows you
to sterilise your baby‘s soother in the
microwave, and carry it with you.
Before use
- Remove tamper-proof closure and any
stickers from the case.
- Wash all items and make sure that they
are clean.
- Remove any dirt, food residue, fat or oils, etc.
from all items as these can impair sterilisation
and may damage the soother or case.
Note: Only use this steriliser / carrying case
with enclosed soother.
To sterilise soother:
Caution: The steriliser / carrying case, water
and soother may still be very hot after a
cooling period of 5 minutes.
Warnings for steriliser/carrying case
Always check the temperature of the
soother before use. Incorrect water level,
microwave power or microwave time can
lead to insucient sterilisation and can
damage the steriliser / carrying case or
soother. Only use enclosed soother and
keep the case out of reach of children.

For your child‘s safety
WARNING!
Inspect carefully before each use. Pull the
soother in all directions. Throw away at the
rst signs of damage or weakness. Do not
soak in water and then put in the freezer.
This may weaken the soother. Only use
dedicated soother holders tested to EN
12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords
to a soother, your child may be strangled by
them. Do not tie the soother around child‘s
neck as it presents a strangulation danger.
Always make sure your baby uses the
correct soother size. Philips Avent soothers
come in dierent sizes, based on age range.
Before rst use: Place the soother in boiling
water for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for 5
minutes before you give it to your baby. Let
water trapped inside the teat cool down and
then squeeze it out. This is to ensure hygiene.
Cleaning and sterilisation: Clean the soother
before every use with warm water and mild
soap. DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents or
aggressive chemicals/substances on soothers.
Excessive combinations of detergents may
eventually cause plastic components to
crack. If this occurs, replace your soother
immediately. Soothers are suitable for all
commonly used forms of sterilisation. Clean
surfaces and your hands thoroughly before
contact with sterilised soothers.
Using: Always use this product under adult
supervision. Replace the soother after
4 weeks of use, for safety and hygiene
reasons. If the soother becomes lodged in
the mouth, DO NOT PANIC; it cannot be
swallowed and is designed to cope with
such an event. Remove from the mouth with
care, as gently as possible. Never dip the
teat in sweet substances or medication, your
child may get tooth decay.
Storage: Store the soother in the steriliser /
carrying case or in a dry covered container.
Do not leave a soother in direct sunlight or
near a source of heat, or leave in sterilising
solution for longer than recommended, as
this may weaken the teat.

Los chupetes Philips Avent son de diferentes
tamaños según el rango de edad.
Antes del primer uso: Mantenga el chupete en
agua hirviendo durante 5 minutos. Deje que se
enfríe durante 5 minutos antes de dárselo al
bebé. Deje que el agua contenida en la tetina
se enfríe y después apriétela para extraerla.
Esto se hace para garantizar la higiene.
Limpieza y esterilización: Limpie el
chupete antes de cada uso con agua
caliente y jabón suave. NO USE agentes de
limpieza abrasivos ni productos químicos/
sustancias agresivas con los chupetes.
Una excesiva combinación de detergentes
puede provocar que los componentes de
plástico se agrieten. Si ocurriera, sustituya
el chupete de inmediato. Los chupetes son
aptos para todas las formas de esterilización
empleadas normalmente. Lávese bien las
manos y las supercies antes de que entren
en contacto con los chupetes esterilizados.
Uso: Utilice siempre este producto bajo la
supervisión de un adulto. Reemplace el
chupete después de 4 semanas de uso por
razones de seguridad e higiene. En el caso
de que un chupete se quede atrapado en
la boca, NO TENGA MIEDO. Los chupetes
no se pueden tragar y están diseñados para
resistir dichas circunstancias. Retírelo de la
boca con cuidado, con la mayor suavidad
posible. No meta nunca la tetina en
sustancias dulces ni en medicamentos, ya
que su hijo podría contraer caries.
Almacenamiento: Guarde el chupete en
el esterilizador / caja de transporte o en
un contenedor tapado y seco. No deje el
chupete expuesto a la luz solar directa ni
cerca de una fuente de calor, tampoco en una
solución esterilizante durante más tiempo del
recomendado, ya que se podría dañar la tetina.
