purchaser must be made available for all Glacier Bay warranty claims.
This warranty excludes incidental/inconsequential damages and failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and

Installing the faucet assembly
CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□ Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□ Clean the mounting surface.
□ Before installation, drill three holes on the wall.
The valve access hole should be 1-1/2 in. to
1-3/4 in. diameter. The recommended valve depth
to the nished wall min. 2 in. to max 3-1/2 in..

Securing the valve body
□ Secure the valve body (H) with the screws (I).
Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws (I).

Making the water supply
connections
□ Wrap thread sealant tape around the valve
body (H) threads in a counterclockwise direction,
as shown. Thread the supply line (1) to valve
body (H), and tighten with a wrench.

Removing the protective caps
□ Remove the protective caps (1 & 2) from the
valve body (H).

Placing the spout
□ Unscrew the set screw (1) with the Hex wrench
(Hex: 2.5mm, N) from the valve body (H). Insert
the spout (E) through the ange (G) and spout
seat (F) to the valve body (H).

Preparing the pop-up assembly
□ Remove the bottom gasket (L) and nut (M) from
the top gasket (J) and pop-up body (K).
□ Attach these pieces together by pushing the
bottom gasket (L) down into the top of the
nut (M) and twisting together.

Securing the spout
□ Retighten the set screw (1) with the Hex wrench
(Hex: 2.5mm, N) to secure the spout to the valve
body. Slide the spout seat (F) and ange (G) over
the spout until it is ush with the wall.

Installing the handle assembly
□ Slide the ange (D) to the cold value body (H)
until the wall face. Place the handle assembly (C)
onto the value body (H). Place the set screw (B)
into handle (C) and tighten set screw (B) with the
Hex wrench (Hex: 2.5mm, N). Insert the index (A).
Repeat this procedure for the other handle on
the left (hot) side.

Installing the pop-up body
□ Insert the pop-up body (K) into the sink. Ensure
that the top gasket (J) rests securely between
the top of the sink and the top of the pop-up
body (K).

Securing the pop-up body
□ From underneath the sink, screw the bottom
gasket (L) and nut (M) assembly onto the pop-up
body (K) by twisting clockwise until secure.

Care and Cleaning
□ To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and dry with a towel.
□ Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will
be voided.
Troubleshooting

The bonnet nut has come loose and/or the
washer is dirty or damaged.
□ Tighten the bonnet nut.
□ Clean or replace the washer.
The aerator has an

The cartridge is dirty or broken. □ Remove the handle to check
the cartridge.

sink drain at the base of
the sink.
The sink has a rough or irregular surface. □ Apply additional silicone sealant
to the beveled side of the drain

□ Retighten and test for leaks.

Flushing and checking for leaks
IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator from the spout (E) with a coin (1) to ush the water
lines.
Operation
□ Ensure the faucet handles are in the off position
and turn on the water supply to check for leaks.
If you discover any leaks, check your connections
to ensure they are installed properly.
□ Remove the aerator and housing (if applicable).
Turn on the hot and cold handles to allow the
water to run for at least one minute. This
ushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts.
□ Turn off the water and reinstall the aerator and
housing (if applicable).

Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del grifo
□ Cierra el suministro de agua. Retira el grifo
anterior.
□ Limpia la supercie de montaje.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de retirar un grifo existente o reemplazar alguna
parte del mismo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.

Cómo asegurar el cuerpo de
la válvula
□ Asegura el cuerpo de la válvula (H) con tornillos (I).
Usa un desarmador Phillips para apretarlos (I).
□ Antes de instalar, taladra tres oricios en la pared.
El oricio de acceso de la válvula debe tener entre
3.8 cm y 4.4 cm de diámetro. Se recomienda que
la profundidad de la válvula hasta la pared
terminada sea de 5.1 cm como mínimo y 8.9 cm
como máximo.

□ Coloca cinta selladora para roscas alrededor
de las del cuerpo de la válvula (H) y en sentido
contrario de las manecillas del reloj, tal como
se muestra. Enrosca la tubería de agua (1) al
cuerpo de la válvula (H) y ajusta con una llave.

Cómo asegurar el caño
□ Vuelve a ajustar el tornillo de jación (1) con la
llave hexagonal (Hex.: 2.5 mm, N) para asegurar
el caño al cuerpo de la válvula. Desliza la base
del caño (F) y la brida (G) sobre el caño hasta
quedar al ras con la pared.

Cómo instalar el conjunto
del maneral
□ Desliza la brida (D) hacia el cuerpo de la válvula
de agua fría (H) hasta el frente de la pared.
Coloca la ensamblaje de la llave (C) en el cuerpo
de la válvula (H). Coloca el tornillo de jación (B)
dentro de la llave (C) y apriétalo con la llave
hexagonal (Hex.: 2.5 mm, N). Inserta el índice (A).
Repite este procedimiento para el otro maneral
en lado (caliente) izquierdo.

Cómo instalar el cuerpo
emergente
□ Inserta el cuerpo emergente (K) en el lavamanos.
Asegúrate de que la junta superior (J) descansa
de manera segura entre la parte superior del
lavamanos y la parte superior del cuerpo
emergente (K).

Cómo asegurar el cuerpo
emergente
□ Desde la parte inferior del lavamanos,
enrosca la junta inferior (L) y el ensamblaje
de la tuerca (M) en el cuerpo emergente (K)
en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj
hasta que quede seguro.

Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
IMPORTANTE: Después de terminar la instalación, retira
el aireador para del caño (E) con una moneda (1) al efecto
de purgar las tuberías de agua.
Funcionamiento
□ Asegúrate de que las llaves del grifo estén
cerradas y abre el suministro del agua para
comprobar que no haya ltraciones. Si descubres
alguna ltración, verica tus conexiones para
asegurarte de que estén instaladas adecuadamente.
□ Retira el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).
Abre los manerales del suministro de agua fría
y caliente y deja que corran durante al menos
un minuto cada una. Esto elimina cualquier
desecho que pudiera dañar las piezas internas.
□ Cierra el suministro de agua y vuelve a colocar
el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).
Cuidado y limpieza
□ Para limpiar, usa un paño húmedo y seca con una toalla.
□ No uses limpiadores abrasivos, esponjas de alambre o productos químicos fuertes para limpiar esta
mezcladora, pues ello anulará la garantía.

hay suciedades.
El suministro de agua no
se corta completamente.
El cartucho está sucio o dañado. □ Retira la llave para revisar el
cartucho.
□ Limpia o reemplaza.
El aireador está sucio o mal instalado.
NOTA: Consulta la sección de piezas de repuesto de este
manual para ver un dibujo detallado que muestra la
ubicación de las piezas enumeradas a continuación.
Hay una ltración
