Make sure that the loudspeaker is securely installed in a stable position to avoid any injuries or damages to
persons or properties. For safety reasons di not place one loudspeaker on top of another without proper fastening
systems. Before hanging the loudspeaker check all the components for damages, deformations, missing or
damaged parts that may compromise safety during installation. If you use the loudspeakers outdoor avoid spots
exposed to bad weather conditions.

responsibility for damages caused by inappropiate accessories or additional devices.

Grazie per aver acquistato un prodotto progettato e sviluppato in Italia da dBTechnologies! Questi montor sono
frutto di una lunga esperienza nel campo della diffusione sonora. Impiegano soluzioni ottimizzate in campo
acustico ed elettronico, oltre che nella scelta dei materiali.
La linea FMX, dalle prestazioni acustiche ottimizzate su un range di frequenze esteso, si propone come linea di
alto livello per il monitor da palco.
Le sue caratteristiche principali sono:
Per utilizzare al meglio il vostro diffusore VIO consigliamo di:
• congurazione coassiale
• un’accentuata versatilità di utilizzo, con la scelta fra una doppia posizione come monitor da palco
oppure l’uso come sistema di amplicazione PA, montato su stand treppiede
• la maneggevolezza e l’immediata congurabilità, grazie ai preset impostabili sul pannello
amplicatore in base all’utilizzo scelto
• leggere il manuale d’uso quick start presente nella confezione e questo manuale d’uso completo in
ogni sua parte e conservarlo per tutta la durata di vita del prodotto.

COPERTURA ACUSTICA
La particolare apertura del monitor garantisce una copertura di 60° (H) x 90° (V). Questo permette in tutte le
congurazioni di utilizzo, di ottenere buone prestazioni di dispersione, anche quando il monitor è utilizzato in
posizione verticale. La congurazione coassiale, inoltre, permette un’ottima copertura anche fuori asse, oltre
a garantire eccellenti risultati all’ascolto a minima distanza. Notare inoltre che la tromba è ruotabile, per una
versatilità di utilizzo ancora maggiore.
CONTENUTO DELLA CONFEZIONE
Vericate, aprendo la confezione, che il contenuto dell’imballo del diffusore FMX sia completo. L’imballo
contiene:
• monitor serie FMX
• cavo di alimentazione con connettore VDE
• quick start e documentazione relativa alla garanzia

CARATTERISTICHE DELLA SEZIONE DI AMPLIFICAZIONE E DI CONTROLLO
L’amplicatore in classe D è il cuore del monitor FMX.
Permette di erogare no a 400 W RMS [FMX 10] e 600 W RMS [FMX12-15]
Il funzionamento è silenzioso ed efciente, non necessitando di un sistema di ventilazione attivo.
Il controllo del sistema è afdato a un potente DSP che rende possibile la congurazione immediata e semplice in
qualsiasi contesto di utilizzo.
Il pannello posto sul retro del subwoofer è caratterizzato da:

1. INGRESSO AUDIO (“Balanced audio Input”) con selettore di ingresso Mic/Line.
Ingresso compatibile con cavi XLR blanciati. Si utilizza per il collegamento in ingresso del segnale audio
proveniente dal mixer (selettore impostato su “Line”), o da un microfono (selettore impostato su “Mic”).
4. INPUT SENSITIVITY
Permette di regolare la sensibilità di ingresso.
Porre a 0 dB prima di iniziare a congurare il monitor ed il sistema.
5. LED DI STATO (“Status”)
Led relativi al funzionamento del modulo.
Limiter: si accende in caso di intervento, ed eventualmente fornisce una segnalazione di warning da vericare con
lampeggio ciclico.
ON/Signal: si accende in maniera discontinua/continua segnalando la presenza di segnale in ingresso.

2. MAIN PRESET
Rotary per l’impostazione dei preset in base all’utilizzo e al contesto.
3. USCITA AUDIO (“Output/Link”)
Connettore compatibile con cavi bilanciati con connettori XLR. Si utilizza per il collegamento in uscita, sia diretto
che in rilancio ad un altro monitor (Link).

Interruttore di accensione/spegnimento.
7. SOCKET VDE
Consente l’inserimento del cavo con connettore VDE.
ATTENZIONE!
• I connettori di questa sezione svolgono anche la funzione di interruttori di alimentazione.
• Non ostruire le alette posteriori di raffreddamento dell’amplicatore. In caso di
surriscaldamento eccessivo, il volume audio viene ridotto gradualmente no alla
stabilizzazione termica del modulo. Il livello viene ristabilito automaticamente al
raggiungimento della corretta temperatura di funzionamento.
• In caso di malfunzionamento, interrompere immediatamente l’alimentazione, e
scollegare il modulo dalla rete. Rivolgersi ad un riparatore autorizzato.
• Non tentare in nessun modo di aprire l’amplicatore.
• Utilizzare solo cavi dotati di connettori originali Neutrik®, di alta qualità. Controllarne
periodicamente l’integrità.

L’installazione classica del monitor a pavimento è ampliata
dalla possibilità di congurazione in verticale su piantana
treppiede.
In quest’ultimo caso porre attenzione a che il piede centrale
sia posizionato in avanti. Per questo tipo di installazione
uitlizzare un ssaggio addizionale (non fornito).
Il prodotto e gli accessori devono essere utilizzati solo da personale esperto! Assicurarsi che l’installazione
sia posizionata in modo stabile e sicuro per scongiurare ogni condizione di pericolo per persone, animali e/o
cose.
L’utilizzatore è tenuto a seguire le regolamentazioni e le leggi cogenti in materia di sicurezza nel Paese in
cui si utilizza il prodotto. Per l’utilizzo in sicurezza, vericare periodicamente la funzionalità di tutte le parti
e l’integrità prima dell’utilizzo.
La progettazione, i calcoli, l’installazione, il collaudo e la manutenzione di sistemi sospesi o stack audio

The FMX line, with its optimised acoustic performance over an extended frequency range, is a high-end line for

SOUND COVERAGE
The monitor's particular dispersion ensures 60° (H) x 90° (V) coverage. This ensures good dispersion
performance in all use congurations, including vertical arrangement. Coaxial conguration provides excellent
off-axis coverage and excellent sound results at close listening distance. Also to be noted the rotary horn, for
even greater versatility of use.

FEATURES OF THE AMPLIFIER AND CONTROL SECTIONS
The class D amplier is the heart of the FMX monitor.
It allows delivering up to 400 W RMS [FMX 10] and 600 W RMS [FMX12-15]
The operation is silent and efcient, and does not require an active ventilation system.
System is controlled by a powerful DSP allowing an immediate and simple conguration in any context of use.

1. AUDIO INPUT ("Balanced audio Input") with Mic/Line input selector.
Input compatible with balanced XLR cables. Used for the input connection of the audio signal coming from the
mixer (selector set to "Line") or from a microphone (selector set to "Mic").
4. INPUT SENSITIVITY
It allows adjusting the input sensitivity.
Before starting monitor and system conguration, set at 0 dB.
5. STATUS LEDs ("Status")
LEDs relating to module operation.
Limiter: lights up in case of activation, and possibly provides a warning signal - to be checked - with cyclic ashing.
ON/Signal: it lights up discontinuously/continuously signalling the presence of an input signal.

• The connectors of this section are also used as power switches.
• Do not obstruct the rear heat sinks of the amplier. If the module heats up excessively,
the audio volume is gradually reduced until the module is thermally stabilized. The audio
is automatically restored when the normal operating temperature is reached.
• In the event of a malfunction, remove power supply immediately and disconnect the
module from the power mains. Contact an authorised repair centre.
• Never attempt to disassemble the amplier in any way.

INSTALLATION
Monitor conventional oor installation is extended by the
possibility of vertical conguration on a tripod stand.
In the latter case, please ensure that the central foot is
positioned forwards. For this type of installation, use an
additional fastener (not supplied).
The product and accessories must be handled by experienced personnel only! Make sure that the
installation is positioned in a stable and safe manner in order to avoid hazardous conditions for people,
animals and/or objects.
The user is required to follow regulations and mandatory laws on safety of the country in which the product
is used. For safe use, regularly check the operation of all parts and integrity before use.
Design, calculations, installation, testing and maintenance of suspended systems or professional audio

Die klassische Aufstellung des Monitors auf dem Boden wird
durch die Möglichkeit der vertikalen Konguration auf einem
Stativständer ergänzt.
Im letzten Fall ist darauf zu achten, dass der mittlere Fuß
nach vorne gestellt wird. Verwenden Sie für diese Art
der Installation eine zusätzliche Befestigung (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten).

domaine acoustique et électronique ainsi que pour le choix des matériaux utilisés.
La ligne FMX, avec des performances acoustiques optimisées sur une gamme de fréquences étendue, est
envisagée comme ligne de pointe pour le retour de scène.

Pour utiliser au mieux votre enceinte VIO il est recommandé de :
• la conguration coaxiale
• une grande polyvalence d'utilisation, pouvant choisir entre une double position en tant que retour de
scène ou l'emploi en tant que système d'amplication PA, monté sur un support trépied
• la maniabilité et la congurabilité immédiate, grâce aux presets réglables sur le panneau de
l'amplicateur en fonction de l'emploi choisi

COUVERTURE ACOUSTIQUE
L'ampleur particulière du retour de scène assure une couverture de 60° (H) x 90° (V). Cela permet dans toutes
les congurations d'utilisation, d'obtenir de bonnes performances de dispersion, même lorsque le retour de
scène est utilisé en position verticale. En outre, la conguration coaxiale permet une excellente couverture
même hors axe, en plus d'assurer d'excellents résultats d'écoute à proximité. Il faut également remarquer que
le pavillon est de type rotatif, permettant une polyvalence d’utilisation accrue.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE LA SECTION D'AMPLIFICATION ET DE CONTRÔLE
L'amplicateur, classe D, est le cœur du moniteur FMX.
Il permet un débit jusqu’à 400 W RMS [FMX 10] et 600 W RMS [FMX12-15]
Le fonctionnement est silencieux et efcace, ne nécessitant pas d’un système de ventilation actif.
Le contrôle du système est coné à un DSP puissant qui rend possible la conguration immédiate et simple dans
n’importe quel contexte d’utilisation.

1. ENTRÉE AUDIO (« Balanced audio Input ») avec sélecteur d’entrée Mic/Line.
Entrée compatible avec câbles XLR symétriques. On utilise la connexion en entrée du signal audio venant du
mélangeur (sélecteur réglé sur « Line ») ou d’un microphone (sélecteur réglé sur « Mic »).
4. SENSIBILITÉ ENTRÉE
Permet de régler la sensibilité d’entrée.
Régler à 0 dB avant de commencer à congurer le moniteur et le système.
5. LED D’ÉTAT (« Status »)
LED relatives au fonctionnement du module.
Limiter : s’allume lors de l’intervention et fournit, le cas échéant, une signalisation d’avertissement à vérier avec
un clignotement cyclique.
ON/Signal : il s’allume de façon intermittente/xe en signalant la présence d’un signal à l’entrée.

Permet l’introduction du câble avec connecteur VDE.
ATTENTION !
• Les connecteurs de cette section jouent également le rôle d’interrupteurs d’alimentation.
• Ne pas obstruer les ailettes arrière de refroidissement de l’amplicateur. En cas de
surchauffe excessive, le volume audio est réduit progressivement jusqu’à la stabilisation
thermique du module. Le niveau est rétabli automatiquement lorsque la température
correcte de fonctionnement à été atteinte.
• En cas de dysfonctionnement, couper immédiatement l'alimentation et débrancher le
module du réseau. Contacter un réparateur agréé.
• N'essayer en aucun cas d'ouvrir l'amplicateur.
• Utiliser uniquement des câbles dotés de connecteurs d’origine Neutrik®, de haute qualité.
En contrôler périodiquement l’intégrité.

INSTALLATION
L’installation traditionnelle du moniteur au sol est enrichie
par la possibilité de conguration à la verticale sur un
support trépied.
Dans ce dernier cas, veiller à ce que le pied central soit
positionné en avant. Pour ce type d’installation il faut utiliser
une xation supplémentaire (non fournie).
Le produit et les accessoires doivent être utilisés uniquement par du personnel expérimenté ! S’assurer
que l’installation est positionnée de façon stable et sûre pour éviter toute situation de danger pour les
personnes, les animaux et/ou les choses.
L’utilisateur est tenu de suivre les réglementations et les lois en vigueur en matière de sécurité dans le pays
où est utilisé le produit. Pour l’utilisation en sécurité, vérier périodiquement la fonctionnalité de toutes les
parties et l’intégrité avant la mise en service.
La conception, les calculs, l’installation, les essais et l’entretien des systèmes suspendus ou en conguration

COBERTURA DEL SONIDO
La apertura particular del monitor garantiza un área de cobertura de 60° (H) x 90° (V). Esto permite obtener
buenas prestaciones de dispersión en todas las conguraciones de uso, incluso cuando el monitor se utiliza
en posición vertical. Además de garantizar resultados de primera calidad en caso de escucha a distancia
mínima, el diseño coaxial brinda una distribución excelente del sonido incluso fuera del eje. Además, se debe
considerar que la trompeta se puede girar, de esta manera se obtiene una versatilidad de uso aún mayor.
CONTENIDO DEL EMBALAJE
Una vez abierto el embalaje, comprobar la presencia de todos los componentes del altavoz FMX. El embalaje

El amplicador de clase D es el corazón del monitor FMX.
Permite suministrar hasta 400 W RMS [FMX 10] y 600 W RMS [FMX12-15]
El funcionamiento es silencioso y eciente, ya que no necesita un sistema de ventilación activo.
El control del sistema está encargado a un potente DSP que permite una conguración inmediata y simple en

SECCIÓN DE ENTRADAS, SALIDAS Y CONTROL
1. ENTRADA AUDIO (“Balanced audio Input”) con selector de entrada Mic/Line.
Entrada compatible con cables XLR balanceados. Se utiliza para la conexión en entrada de la señal audio
proveniente de la mezcladora, (selector congurado en "Line"), o de un micrófono (selector congurado en
"Mic").
4. INPUT SENSITIVITY
Permite regular la sensibilidad de entrada.
Colocar en 0 dB antes de comenzar con la conguración del monitor y el sistema.
5. LED DE ESTADO (“Status”)
Leds relativos al funcionamiento del módulo.
Limitador: se enciende en caso de intervención, y eventualmente suministra una señal de advertencia para
comprobar con parpadeo cíclico.
ON/Signal: se enciende de manera discontinua/continua indicando la presencia de señal de entrada.

Permite la introducción del cable con conector VDE.
¡ATENCIÓN!
• Los conectores de esta sección también tienen la función de interruptores de alimentación.
• No obstruir las aletas traseras de la refrigeración del amplicador. En caso de excesivo
sobrecalentamiento, el volumen del sonido se reduce gradualmente hasta lograr la
estabilización térmica del módulo. El nivel se restablece automáticamente al alcanzar la
temperatura de funcionamiento correcta.
• En caso de funcionamiento incorrecto, quitar inmediatamente la alimentación y
desconectar el módulo de la red. Contactar con un técnico autorizado.
• No intentar abrir el amplicador de ninguna manera.
• Utilizar solo cables con conectores originales Neutrik® de alta calidad. Controlar
periódicamente su integridad.

La instalación clásica del monitor de suelo se amplía con la
posibilidad de conguración vertical en poste trípodes.
En este último caso, controlar que el pie central esté
colocado hacia adelante. Para este tipo de instalación utilizar
una jación adicional (no suministrada).
¡El producto y los accesorios sólo deben ser utilizadas por personal experto! Asegurarse de que la
instalación sea colocada en modo estable y seguro para evitar cualquier situación de peligro para personas,
animales y cosas.
El usuario está obligado a seguir los reglamentos y leyes obligatorias en materia de seguridad en el país
donde se utiliza el producto. Para un funcionamiento seguro, comprobar periódicamente el funcionamiento
