Press and hold the power button to turn Loomo ON/OFF.

Press to switch Loomo between robot and self-balancing vehicle (SBV) mode.

Tap the side touchpads to restore Loomo to its default state.

Hold the hand touch-bar to move Loomo in either robot or SBV mode.

Touch and hold the inner button inside the handle to stop Loomo’s engine temporarily

to lift or carry Loomo safely.

Indicates whether Loomo’s base is locked or not.

Indicates whether Loomo is in Speed Limit mode or not.

Indicates the remaining battery life. Each block equates to

approximately 20% of battery. When the battery is nearly

empty, this icon blinks, indicating you should charge Loomo.

When the power level is below 10%, the speed will be limited

to 6.2 mph (10 km/h).

Place Loomo upright, and then press the

power button to power Loomo on. Loomo

will then activate its self-balancing ability.

Please note that Loomo will suddenly lose

balance when it is powered o. For safety

reasons, please hold and manually put

Loomo down. Pressing the power button

will not work when someone is riding

Loomo.

Forced Shutdown

Press the power button (for about 5s) until

Loomo starts to beep, after which Loomo will

shut down in 30s. Please use this functionality

only when Loomo becomes unresponsive.

Transform:

Loomo has two modes, SBV (Self-Balancing

Vehicle) mode and robot mode. SBV mode is

designed for personal transportation. Robot

mode is designed for other robot capabilities.

You can switch Loomo between these two

modes by pressing the transform button.

3. Basic Guide

Locate the charging port.

Open the rubber cap. Insert the plug into the socket.

Charge Loomo only when it is powered o.

Do not leave Loomo's batteries uncharged for a long time.

To avoid degradation of the battery, Loomo has to be charged at least every 6

months.

When attached, it provides direct access to a USB 2.0 port and a 24V (1A limit) power supply.

Remove the rubber cap

covering the hardware

extension slot.

Align the extension bay

Securely fasten the

extension bay converter by

Lifting

When Loomo is powered on, make sure to use the lifting handle to lift and carry Loomo as shown above. Because of Loomo’s

self-balancing mechanism, incorrectly lifting it by its mainframe or fenders may cause its wheels to spin haphazardly. This in turn may

bring danger to you and others around you.

Holding the button inside of the handle will temporarily stop Loomo’s engine, allowing you to safely carry the robot.

Push & Move

Please make sure to hold the Hand Touch-Bar when pushing or moving Loomo manually.

In order to maintain its current position, Loomo will reject from any external disturbance. If you move Loomo in the incorrect way, you

will feel a resistant force.

Download the Loomo mobile device app, and connect your mobile device to Loomo.

Wi-Fi mode

There are two connection modes to ensure a proper and stable connection.

Wi-Fi mode: You can connect your mobile device to Loomo by joining the same Wi-Fi network.

Hotspot mode: You can also connect your mobile device to Loomo by utilizing Loomo’s hotspot.

NOTE:

Under Wi-Fi mode, both Loomo and your mobile device will still have access to the internet. However,

under hotspot mode, both of them will lose internet access. So, we recommend using Wi-Fi mode to

connect to Loomo. You can switch between these two modes in Loomo’s main application window.

7. Learning to Ride

Go to a large open area and ask a friend to

assist you on your ﬁrst ride.

The app will lead you through the New Rider Tutorial.

NOTE

Please be sure to read and understand Safe Riding instructions in

this manual before attempting to ride Loomo. Failure to follow

these warnings could result in death or serious injury due to: loss

of balance or control, collisions, and falls.

After activation, the app will guide you through the New Rider

Tutorial. Please follow the instructions in the app and in this

manual.

Wear an approved helmet and other protective gear to minimize

any possible injury.

Lightly place one foot on the foot mat, while

keeping your other foot on the ground to support

your weight. Do not press the steering bar (the

central column of Loomo) with your leg.

Slowly transfer your weight onto Loomo. A

beeping sound will indicate that Loomo is

now in self-balancing mode. Slowly step on

with your other foot.

Gently lean your body forward and backward

to control your movement.

To turn, gently lean left or right against the

steering bar.

Stand with your weight evenly distributed on

both feet and relax, looking straight ahead.

8. Safety Warnings for Ride

To maintain proper vehicle

control, avoid letting the

wheels make direct contact

with surrounding obstacles.

Watch your head when

passing through doorways.

Avoid slopes steeper than 15°. For fear of losing control or

damaging Loomo’s internal

electric circuits, do not ride

through puddles deeper

than 2cm.

Do not ride on public roads or

highways.

Do not ride Loomo over holes,

curbs, steps, or other obstacles.

Do not rock back and forth or

shift your weight abruptly.

Loomo is suited for one rider

only. Do not carry a child

while riding Loomo, or let

multiple people ride Loomo

at the same time. Pregnant

women should not ride

Loomo.

Do not exceed the

recommended speed limit. If

you do, Loomo will sound an

alarm and lean back, at which

point you should slow down

immediately; otherwise, you

may lose balance.

Do not accelerate or decelerate

abruptly. Do not lean more than

5° or accelerate/decelerate faster

than 2.5 mph/s (4 km/h/s).

When traversing small bumps or uneven terrain, maintain a

moderate speed of 2~6 mph (3~10km/h). Do not go too slowly

or too fast; otherwise you may lose control and fall. Keeping your

knees bent will help you maintain your balance.

In places without laws and regulations governing self-balancing electric vehicles, comply with the safety

guidelines outlined in this manual. Neither Segway-Ninebot Group nor Segway Robotics Inc. is responsible for any

property damage, personal injury/death, accidents, or legal disputes caused by violations of the safety

instructions.

Do not allow anyone to ride Loomo on his/her own unless they have carefully read the instructions. The

safety of new riders is your responsibility. Help spot new riders until they are comfortable with the basic operation

of the Loomo. Make sure each new rider wears a helmet and other protective gear.

Before each ride check for loose fasteners, damaged components, and low tire pressure. If Loomo makes

abnormal sounds or signals an alarm, immediately stop riding and call your dealer/distributor for service.

Always wear a helmet when riding. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that ts properly with the

chin strap in place, and provides protection for the back of your head. Make sure each new rider wears

a helmet.

Do not attempt your rst ride in any area where you might encounter children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles,

bicycles, or other obstacles and potential hazards.

Be alert! Scan your surroundings both far ahead and directly in front of Loomo — your eyes are your best tool for

safely avoiding obstacles and low traction surfaces (including, but not limited to, wet ground, loose sand and loose

ice).

Do not attempt stunts of any

kind. Always keep both feet

on the foot mats.

Maintain contact with the

ground at all times. Do not

jump or attempt stunts.

Do not ride on low traction

surfaces (including, but not

limited to, wet ground, loose

sand, loose gravel, and ice).

Loomo can be used as a self-balancing vehicle. If you have not used such products before, please read the

instructions and warnings. Neither Segway-Ninebot Group nor Segway Robotics Inc. is responsible for any injuries

or damage caused by a rider's inexperience or failure to follow the instructions in the manual.

Please understand that you can reduce risk of injury by following all the instructions and warnings in this manual,

but you cannot eliminate all the risks. Remember that whenever you ride Loomo you risk injury or death from loss

of control, collisions, and falls. When entering public spaces always comply with the local laws and regulations. As

with other vehicles, faster speed requires longer braking distance. Sudden braking on smooth surfaces could lead

to wheel slip, loss of balance, or falls. Be cautious and always keep a safe distance between you and other people or

vehicles when riding. Be alert and slow down when entering unfamiliar areas.

Respect pedestrians by always yielding the right of way. Pass on the left whenever possible. When approaching a

pedestrian from the front, stay to the right and slow down. Avoid startling pedestrians.

When approachng from behind, announce yourself and slow down to walking speed when passing.

Do not sit on Loomo’s head. Doing so could result in serious injury and/or damage to Loomo.

The following people should not ride Loomo:A.

Anyone under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.

Anyone who suers from disease that puts them at risk if they engage in strenuous physical activity.

Anyone whose height or weight is outside the stated limits (see page 10 Learning to Ride).

10. Maintenance

Use a soft, wet cloth to wipe the mainframe clean. Hard to remove dirt can be scrubbed with a toothbrush and

toothpaste, then cleaned with a soft, wet cloth. Scratches on plastic parts can be polished with extra-ne grit

sandpaper.

Inate tires to 35~50 psi. Inate both tires equally.

NOTE

WARNING

Do not wash Loomo with alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or other corrosive/volatile solvents. These substances may

damage the appearance and internal structure of Loomo. Do not wash Loomo with a power washer or

high-pressure hose.

Make sure Loomo is powered OFF, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber cap on the charge port is

tightly sealed before cleaning; otherwise you may expose yourself to electric shock or damage electronic

components.

Store Loomo in a cool, dry place. Do not store it outdoors for extended periods of time. Exposure to sunlight and

temperature extremes (both hot and cold) will accelerate the aging process of the plastic components and may

reduce battery life.

Do not store or charge the battery at temperatures outside the stated limits (see Specications). Do not discard or

destroy the battery. For more battery information, refer to the sticker on the battery itself. Refer to your local laws

and regulations regarding battery recycling and/or disposal. A well-maintained battery can perform well even after

many miles of riding. Charge the battery after each ride and avoid draining the battery completely. When used at

room temperature (70°F [22°C]) the battery range and performance is at its best; whereas using it at temperatures

below 32°F (0°C) can decrease range and performance.

Do not ride in the snow, in the rain, or on roads which are wet, muddy, icy, or that are slippery for any

reason. Do not ride over obstacles (sand, loose gravel, or sticks). Doing so could result in a loss of

balance or traction and could cause a fall.

To ride safely, you must be able to clearly see what is in front of you and you must be clearly visible to

others.

Comply with local laws and regulations when riding this product. Do not ride where prohibited by local

laws

Anyone who has problems with balance or with motor skills that would interfere with their ability to

maintain balance.

Anyone under 14 years old or above 60 years old. Riders between 14-18 years old should ride under

adult supervision.

To reduce risk of injury, you must read and follow all “CAUTION” and “WARNING” notices in this document. Do

not ride at an unsafe speed. Under no circumstances should you ride on roads with motor vehicles. Always follow

these safety instructions:

Use only Segway Robotics approved parts and accessories. Do not modify Loomo. Modications to Loomo

could interfere with the operation of Loomo, could result in serious injury and/or damage, and could void the

Limited Warranty.

Use a surge protector when charging to help protect your Loomo from damage due to power

surges and voltage spikes. Only use the Segway Robotics supplied charger. Do not use a charger

from any other product.

Do not accelerate or decelerate suddenly. Do not accelerate when Loomo tilts back or sounds an alarm. Do not

attempt to override the speed limiter.

Typically, a fully charged battery should retain charge for 120~180 days in Standby State. A low-power battery

should retain charge for 30~60 days in Standby State. Remember to charge the battery after each use.

Completely draining the battery may cause permanent damage to the battery. Electronics inside the battery

record the charge-discharge condition of the battery; damage caused by over-discharge or under-discharge will

not be covered by the Limited Warranty.

We recommend against riding when the ambient temperature is below 32°F (0°C) because low temperature will

limit the maximum power/torque. Doing so could cause personal injury or property damage due to slips or falls.

Do not attempt to disassemble the battery.

Tout d’abord, passez Loomo en mode VAS,

pour l’éteindre. Attention : Loomo perdra

son équilibre quand vous l’éteindrez. Pour

des raisons de sécurité, retenez Loomo et

accompagnez le jusqu’au sol. Appuyer sur

le bouton d’alimentation ne fonctionnera

pas quand quelqu’un conduit Loomo.

Arrêt forcé

Maintenez le bouton d’alimentation enfoncé

pendant environ 5 secondes, jusqu’à ce que

Loomo commence à biper. Loomo s’éteindra

alors au bout de 30 secondes. Veuillez

utiliser cette fonction uniquement si Loomo

ne répond plus.

Changement de mode :

Loomo a deux modes de fonctionnement :

mode VAS (Véhicule Auto-Stabilisé) et mode

Robot. En mode VAS, il transporte un

conducteur. En mode Robot, il se déplace

indépendament. Vous pouvez changer de

mode en appuyant sur le bouton de

changement de mode.

Transport

Quand Loomo est allumé, utilisez toujours la poignée de transport pour le soulever et le transporter, comme décrit ci-dessus.

À cause de son mécanisme de stabilisation, soulever Loomo par le chassis ou les garde-boues est incorrect et peut faire

tourner les roues de manière inattendue et dangereuse pour vous et votre entourage. Presser le bouton à l’intérieur de la

poignée de transport désactive temporairement le moteur de Loomo, vous permettant de le déplacer en toute sécurité.

Mode Wi-Fi: vous pouvez connecter votre appareil mobile à Loomo en les connectant au

point d’accès Wi-Fi integré à Loomo.

Remarque:

En mode Wi-Fi, Loomo et votre appareil mobile auront tout deux accès à internet. En

REMARQUE

Assurez vous d’avoir lu et compris les avertissements et les

consignes pour conduire en toute sécurité avant de

commencer à conduire Loomo. Ne pas suivre ces consignes

peut entraîner de sérieuses blessures, voire la mort, suite à :

une perte d’équilibre, d’adhérence ou de contrôle; une collision;

une chute.

Après activation, l’application vous guidera à travers le tutoriel

Nouveau Conducteur. Veuillez suivre les instructions que

l’application vous donnera, ainsi que celles de ce manuel.

Portez un casque aux normes et d’autres équipements de

protection afin de minimiser le risque de blessure.

Le conducteur doit peser entre 25 et

100 kg (55 – 225 lbs) et mesurer entre

130 et 200 cm (4’3” - 6.6”).

Posez un pied sur le repose-pieds, tout en

gardant votre poids sur le pied resté au sol.

N’appuyez pas votre jambe contre le corps du

robot, qui sert de guidon.

Rendez vous dans un espace dégagé et

demandez à un tiers de vous assister durant

votre première séance de conduite.

Transferez progressivement votre poids sur

le Loomo. Un bip vous indiquera qu’il s’est

alors équilibré. Remontez et posez lentement

votre autre pied sur le repose-pieds.

Penchez doucement votre corps vers l’avant

et l’arrière pour contrôler votre mouvement.

Pour tourner, penchez vous à droite ou à

gauche contre le corps du robot, qui sert

de guidon

Répartissez votre poids sur vos deux pieds

et détendez vous. Regardez droit devant

vous.

8. Consignes de sécurité pour la conduite

Pour ne pas perdre le contrôle

du véhicule, ne laisser pas les

roues entrer en contact direct

avec les obstacles environnants.

Prenez garde à votre tête

quand vous passez une

porte.

Évitez de grimper des pentes de

Pour ne pas perdre le

contrôle de Loomo, ou

endommager ses circuits

électroniques, ne traversez

Ne conduisez pas sur des

routes publiques, des voies

rapides ou des autoroutes.

Ne roulez pas dans des trous,

fossés, escaliers, ou autres

obstacles.

Ne vous balancez pas

d’avant en arrière, et ne

modifiez pas la répartition de

votre poids de façon

brusque.

Loomo est conçu pour un

seul conducteur. Ne

conduisez pas Loomo en

portant un enfant. Ne laissez

pas plusieurs personnes

monter sur Loomo en meme

temps. Les femmes enceintes

ne doivent pas conduire

Loomo.

Ne dépassez pas la vitesse

maximale recommandée. Si

vous la dépassez, Loomo

déclenchera une alarme et se

penchera vers l’arrière. Vous

devrez alors ralentir

immédiatement, sans quoi vous

pourriez perdre l’équilibre.

N’accélérez, ni décélérez pas

brusquement. Ne vous inclinez

pas de plus de 5°, et

n’accélerez, ne décélerez pas

de plus de 4 km/h/s (2.5

mph/s).

Si vous traversez un terrain accidenté (petites bosses ou

terrain inégal), maintenez une allure modérée, de 3 a 20 km/h

(2~6 mph). Ne roulez ni trop vite, ni trop lentement, sans quoi

vous pourriez perdre le contrôle du véhicule et tomber. Pliez

légèrement les genous pour vous sentir plus en securité.

Loomo peut être utilisé comme un Véhicule Auto Stabilisé. Si vous n’avez jamais utilisé de Véhicule Auto

Stabilisé auparavant, veuillez consulter les consignes et bonnes pratiques d’utilisation. Ni Ninebit Inc., ni

Segway Robotics Inc. ne pourra être tenu responsible d’éventuelles blessures ou dégats causés par le

manque d’expérience du conducteur ou par la désobéissance aux instructions décrites dans ce manuel.

Notez que les risques peuvent être réduits en suivant les consignes et avertissements indiqués dans ce

manuel, mais ne sont jamais complètement éliminés. Gardez en tête qu’il existe toujours un risque de perte

conservez une distance de sécurité entre vous et les autres véhicules ou personnes quand vous roulez.

Soyez attentif, et ralentissez quand vous conduisez dans un endroit inconnu.

Respectez les piétons et cédez leur toujours le passage. Dépassez par la gauche autant que possible.

Quand vous approchez des piétons d'en face, restez à droite et ralentissez. Prenez garde à ne pas

surprendre les piétons. Quand vous approchez par derrière, annoncez votre présence, réduisez votre allure

et dépassez au pas.

Dans les lieux sans lois ou régulations concernant les véhicules auto stabilisés, respectez les consignes de

sécurité décrites dans ce manuel. Ni Ninbot Inc., ni Segway Robotics Inc. ne pourront être tenus

responsables d’éventuels dégats matériels, blessures , décès, accidents ou poursuites judiciaires causées

par le non-respect des consignes de sécurité.

Ne laissez personne piloter de Loomo seul sans avoir lu attentivement les consignes de sécurité. La

sécurité des pilotes néophytes est votre responsabilité. Assurez les (tenez vous pret à les rattraper en cas

de chute) jusqu’à ce qu’ils se familiarisent avec les mouvements de base de Loomo. Vérifiez que chaque

pilote néophyte porte bien un casque et d’autres équipements de protection.

Avant de conduire, vérifiez que toutes les fixations de Loomo (vis, …) tiennent solidement, qu’aucun

composant n’est endommagé, et vérifiez la pression des pneus. Si Loomo émet des sons anormaux, ou

déclenche une alarme, cessez immédiatement de conduire et contactez votre revendeur/distributeur pour

procéder à une maintenance.

Portez en permanence un casque quand vous pilotez Loomo. Utilisez un casque de vélo ou de skateboard

aux normes, à votre taille, avec une sangle sous le menton, et qui couvre l’arrière de votre crâne. Assurez

vous que chaque pilote néophyte porte un casque.

N’effectuez pas vos premières sorties à un endroit où se trouvent des enfants, des piétons, animaux, autres

véhicules, vélos, ou autres obstacles et dangers potentiels.

Restez vigilant ! Surveillez à la fois loin devant vous et proche de vous – vos yeux sont votre meilleur atout

pour circuler en toute sécurité et éviter les obstacles et surfaces à faible adhérence (telles que, sans s’y

limiter, les surfaces mouillées, sable, gravier et surfaces verglacées).

Afin de réduire les risques de blessure, vous devez lire et appliquer toutes les mentions “ATTENTION” et

“AVERTISSEMENTS” se trouvant dans ce document. Ne roulez pas à des vitesses dangereuses. Ne roulez

en aucune circonstance sur les mêmes voies que des véhicules à moteur.

Suivez toujours ces consignes de sécurité:

REMARQUE

ATTENTION

Ne nettoyez pas votre Loomo avec de l’alcool, de l’essence, de l’acétone ou d’autres solvants corrosifs ou

volatiles. Ces substances peuvent détériorer l’apparence et la structure interne de votre Loomo. N’utilisez

pas de nettoyeur à haute pression pour laver votre Loomo.

Assurez vous que votre Loomo est éteint, avec le cable d’alimentation débranché et la trappe en

caoutchouc du port de recharge hermétiquement fermée avant le nettoyage. Sans cela, vous vous exposez

à un risque d’éléctrocution et d'endommagement possible des composants électroniques de Loomo.

Stockez le dans un endroit sec et frais. Ne le stockez pas en extérieur de manière prolongée. L’exposition

au soleil et aux températures extrêmes (chaudes ou froides) accélère le vieillissement des composants en

plastique et peut réduire l’autonomie de la batterie.

XI. Ne branchez pas le cable d’alimentation si le port de recharge est mouillé.

XII. Utilisez un parasurtenseur (protection contre la surtension) lors de la charge de manière à protéger votre

Loomo contre les coupures de courant et les pics de tension. N’utilisez le chargeur d’aucun autre produit

pour recharger votre Loomo.

Utilisez un chiffon humecte pour nettoyer le chassis. Les saletés récalcitrantes peuvent être frottées avec une

brosse à dent et du dentifrice, puis nettoyées avec un chiffon humecte. Les éraflures sur les pièces en

plastiques peuvent être polies avec du papier abrasif (papier de verre) ultra fin.

Ne stockez, ni chargez pas la batterie en dehors des limites de température spécifiées (cf Caractéristiques

Techniques). Ne jetez pas la batterie, et ne la détruisez pas. Référez vous à vos lois et réglements locaux en ce

qui concerne le recyclage ou la destruction de vos batteries. Une batterie bien entretenue conserve de bonnes

performances même après de nombreux kilomètres de circulation. Rechargez la batterie après chaque sortie, et

évitez de la décharger complètement . Les performances de la batterie sont maximisées lors d’une utilisation à

température ambiante (22°C / 70°F), tandis qu’une utilisation à température inférieure à 0°C (32°F) peut réduire

son autonomie et ses performances.

XIII. Utilisez uniquement des pièces de rechange approuvées par Segway Robotics. Ne modifiez pas votre

Loomo. Toute modification de votre Loomo est susceptible de porter atteinte à son fonctionnement et de

causer de sérieuses blessures et/ou dégats matériels, et peut annuler la Garantie Limitée.

Ne vous asseyez pas sur la tête de Loomo. Ceci peut causer de sérieuses blessures et/ou endommager

D. Ne roulez pas dans la neige, sous la pluie, ou sur des routes mouillées, boueuses, verglacées, ou

glissantes pour quelque raison que ce soit. Ne franchissez pas d’obstacles (sable, gravier, branches).

Ceci pourrait vous faire perdre l’équilibre, l’adhérence, et causer une chute.

E. N’accélérez et ne décélérez pas de manière brusque. N’accélérez pas lorsque le Loomo se penche en

Une batterie non rechargée conserve de la charge pendant 30 à 60 jours en veille. N’oubliez pas de recharger

Halten Sie darum die innere Taste im Hebegriff um Loomo’s Motor vorübergehend anzuhalten und Loomo sicher aufzuheben.

Netzwerk beitreten.

Hotspot-Modus:

HINWEIS:

Im Wi-Fi-Modus werden sowohl Loomo, als auch ihr Mobilgerät weiterhin Zugriff auf das

8. Sicherheitswarnungen für die Fahrt

Um die Kontrolle über das Fahrzeug

zu gewährleisten, vermeiden Sie,

dass die Räder in direkten Kontakt

mit umgebenden Hindernissen

kommen.

Passen Sie auf Ihren Kopf auf,

wenn Sie durch Türen fahren.

Vermeiden Sie Steigungen,

welche steiler als 15° sind.

Vermeiden Sie das Fahren durch

Pfützen, welche tiefer als 2cm sind,

Beschädigung von Loomo‘s internen

Schaltkreisen zu vermeiden.

Fahren Sie nicht auf

Autobahnen.

Fahren Sie mit Loomo nicht über

Löcher, Randsteine, Stufen oder

andere Hindernisse.

Schaukeln Sie nicht hin und her

Loomo ist nur für einen Fahrer

geeignet. Tragen Sie kein Kind

während Sie auf Loomo fahren

Überschreiten Sie nicht die

empfohlene

Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Falls Sie

dies tun wird Loomo einen Alarm

diesem Moment sollten Sie sofort

abbremsen; ansonsten können Sie

Ihr Gleichgewichtverlieren.

Nicht abrupt beschleunigen oder

abbremsen. Nicht mehr als 5° lehnen

oder schneller als 4 km/h/s (2.5

mph/s) beschleunigen/abbremsen.

Halten Sie eine moderate Geschwindigkeit von 3~10km/h (2~6 mph),

wenn Sie über kleine Unebenheiten oder unebenes Gelände fahren.

Fahren Sie nicht zu langsam oder zu schnell; ansonsten können Sie die

Kontrolle verlieren und fallen. Halten Sie Ihre Knie gebogen für ein

angenehmeres Fahren.

Abstand zwischen anderen Personen oder Fahrzeugen. Seien Sie wachsam und beim Betreten

unbekannter Gebiete, verlangsamen Sie die Geschwindigkeit.

Respektieren Sie Fussgänger, indem Sie ihnen immer Vorfahrt geben. Überholen Sie nach Möglichkeit

links. Bei der Annäherung an einen Fussgänger von vorne, bleiben Sie auf der rechten Seite und

verlangsamen Sie Ihre Geschwindigkeit. Vermeiden Sie es Fussgänger zu erschrecken. Wenn Sie sich

von hinten annähern, kündigen Sie Ihre Präsenz an und verlangsamen Sie die Geschwindigkeit auf

Schritttempo beim Überholen.

An Orten ohne Gesetze und Vorschriften für selbstbalancierende Elektrofahrzeuge, halten Sie die

Sicherheitshinweise in diesem Handbuch ein. Weder Ninebot Inc. noch Segway Robotics Inc. sind für

Seien Sie wachsam! Schauen Sie sowohl weit voraus, als auch vor Ihren Loomo – Ihre Augen sind Ihr

bestes Werkzeug, um sicher Hindernisse und Untergründe mit geringer Bodenhaftung (einschliesslich,

aber nicht beschränkt auf nassen Boden, loser Sand, loser Kies und Eis) zu vermeiden.

X. Um das Verletzungsrisiko zu verringern, müssen Sie alle "VORSICHT" und "WARNUNG" Hinweise in

XIV. Sitzen Sie nicht auf Loomo‘s Kopf. Dies könnte zu schweren Verletzungen und/oder Schäden an Ihrem

Loomo führen.

Reinigen Sie Ihr Loomo nicht mit Alkohol, Benzin, Azeton oder anderen ätzenden / flüchtigen

Lösungsmitteln. Diese Substanzen können das Aussehen und die internen Komponenten Ihres Loomo‘s

beschädigen. Waschen Sie Ihr Loomo nicht mit einem Hochdruckreiniger oder einem Hochdruckschlauch.

Benutzen sie ein weiches, feuchtes Tuch um den Hauptrahmen zu reinigen. Schwer entfernbarer Schmutz

kann mit einer Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta geschrubbt und anschliessend mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch

gereinigt werden. Kratzer auf den Kunststoffteilen können mit extra feinem Schleifpapier poliert werden.

Lagern oder laden Sie den Akku nicht bei Temperaturen ausserhalb der angegebenen Grenzwerte (siehe

Technische Daten). Werfen Sie die Batterie nicht weg. Zerstören Sie die Batterie nicht. Weitere Informationen

zur Batterie finden Sie auf dem Aufkleber der auf der Batterie aufgebracht ist. Beachten Sie die örtlichen

Gesetze und Vorschriften zum Recycling und/oder der Entsorgung von Batterien. Eine gut gewartete Batterie

kann auch nach vielen Kilometern Fahrt noch gut funktionieren. Laden Sie den Akku nach jeder Fahrt auf und

vermeiden Sie das vollständige Entladen der Batterie. Bei Verwendung bei Raumtemperatur (22° C [70° F]) ist

die Reichweite und die Leistung am besten; während die Verwendung bei Temperaturen unter 0° C (32° F) die

Reichweite und Leistung verringern kann.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass wenn Loomo ausgeschaltet ist, das Ladekabel nicht eingesteckt ist und die

Gummikappe am Ladeanschluss vor der Reinigung fest verschlossen ist. Andernfalls setzen Sie sich dem

Risiko für einen elektrischen Schlag oder der Beschädigung elektrischer Komponenten aus.

Lagern Sie Loomo an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort auf. Bewahren Sie Loomo nicht für längere Zeit im Freien

auf. Die Aussetzung gegenüber Sonnenlicht und extremen Temperaturen (sowohl heiss, als auch kalt)

beschleunigt den Alterungsprozess der Kunststoffkomponenten und kann die Batterielebensdauer verringern.

nicht dort, wo es durch örtliche Gesetze verboten ist.

3.1 Accensione/spegnimento di Loomo e commutazione tra modalità SBV e Robot

Spegnimento:

In primo luogo passare Loomo in modalità

SBV, poi premere il pulsante di alimentazione

per spegnerlo. Si prega di notare che Loomo

perderà improvvisamente l'equilibrio qualora

venisse spento. Per motivi di sicurezza, tenere

Loomo e appoggiarlo manualmente. Premere il

pulsante di alimentazione non funzionerebbe

se qualcuno lo stesse guidando.

Arresto forzato

Premere il pulsante di accensione (per circa 5

secondi) finché Loomo inizia a emettere un

segnale acustico, dopodiché Loomo si spegnerà in

30 secondi. Utilizza questa funzionalità solo

quando Loomo non risponde.

Trasformare:

Loomo ha due modalità, la modalità SBV (veicolo

di bilanciamento automatico) e la modalità Robot.

La modalità SBV è progettata per il trasporto

personale. La modalità Robot è progettata per

l'autopilota del robot. Si può far passare Loomo tra

queste due funzionalità premendo il pulsante di

trasformazione.

Sollevamento

Spingere e

spostare

Assicurarsi di tenere la barra Head-Touch quando si tenta di spostare Loomo spingendo. Per mantenere la sua attuale

posizione, Loomo rifiuterà le forze da eventuali disturbi esterni. Se Loomo viene spostato in modo errato, sentirete forza

resistente.

Indossare un casco approvato e altri dispositivi di protezione per

8. Avvertenze di sicurezza per la corsa

Per mantenere il corretto controllo

del veicolo, evitare di far entrare le

Non guidare su strade

pubbliche o autostrade.

Non guidare Loomo su fori, fessure,

gradini o altri ostacoli.

Non oscillare avanti e indietro o

spostare il peso bruscamente.

Loomo è adatto solo per un solo

pilota. Non portare un bambino

durante la guida di Loomo, né

permettere a più persone di

guidare Loomo contemporanea-

mente. Le donne incinte non

dovrebbero guidare Loomo.

Non superare il limite di velocità

consigliato. Se venisse fatto,

suonerebbe un allarme e Loomo si

inclinerebbe indietro, a questo

punto si dovrebbe rallentare

immediatamente; altrimenti, si

potrebbe perdere l'equilibrio.

Non accelerare o decelerare

bruscamente. Non inclinarsi più di 5°

e non accelerare/decelerare più

velocemente di 4 km/h/s.

Quando si attraversano piccoli urti o terreno irregolare, mantenere una

velocità moderata di 3~10km/h. Non andare troppo lentamente o troppo

in fretta; altrimenti si potrebbe perdere il controllo e cadere. Mantenere le

ginocchia piegate vi farà sentire meglio.

9. Istruzioni di sicurezza

Loomo può essere utilizzato come veicolo di auto-equilibratura. Se non avete usato tali prodotti prima, si

prega di leggere le istruzioni e di esercitarsi. Né Ninebot Inc. né Segway Robotics Inc. sono responsabili

di eventuali lesioni o danni causati da inesperienza di un pilota o dall'inosservanza delle istruzioni

contenute nel nostro manuale.

Si prega di comprendere che è possibile ridurre il rischio seguendo tutte le istruzioni e avvertenze presenti

nel presente manuale, ma non è possibile eliminare tutti i rischi. Ricordatevi che ogni volta che si guida il

Loomo rischiate lesioni o morte a causa di perdita di controllo, collisioni e cadute. Quando si entra negli

spazi pubblici, rispettare sempre le leggi e le norme locali. Come con altri veicoli, le velocità più elevate

richiedono uno spazio di frenata maggiore. La frenata improvvisa su superfici lisce potrebbe portare la

ruota a scivolare, alla perdita di bilanciamento o a cadute. Prestare attenzione e mantenere sempre una

distanza sicura tra di voi e altre persone o veicoli quando si guida. Sii attento e rallenta quando entri in

aree non familiari.

Rispettare i pedoni, fornendo sempre la precedenza. Passare sulla sinistra quando possibile. Quando si

avvicina a un pedone dalla parte anteriore, rimanere a destra e rallentare. Evitare di sorprendere i pedoni.

Quando si avvicina da dietro, annunciare il proprio arrivo e rallentate a passo d’uomo quando superate.

In luoghi senza leggi e regolamenti che regolano veicoli elettrici auto-bilanciati, rispettare le indicazioni di

sicurezza descritte in questo manuale. Né Ninebot Inc. né Segway Robotics Inc. sono responsabili di

eventuali danni alla proprietà, lesioni personali/morti, incidenti o contenziosi legali causati da violazioni

delle istruzioni di sicurezza.

Non permettere a nessuno di guidare il Loomo per conto proprio se non hanno letto attentamente le

istruzioni. La sicurezza dei nuovi piloti è la vostra responsabilità. Aiutare nuovi piloti fino a che non siano a

proprio agio con l’utilizzo di base di Loomo. Assicurarsi che ogni nuovo pilota indossi un casco e altri

dispositivi di protezione.

Prima di ogni giro, verificare che non ci siano fastidi, componenti danneggiati e bassa pressione

pneumatica. Se il Loomo fa suoni anomali o segnala un allarme, interrompere immediatamente l’utilizzo e

chiamare il rivenditore/distributore per un servizio.

Indossate sempre un casco durante la guida. Usare un casco di bicicletta o skateboard approvato che si

adatta correttamente con la cinghia del mento in posizione e fornisce protezione per la parte posteriore

della testa. Assicurarsi che ogni nuovo pilota indossa un casco.

Non tentare la prima corsa in nessuna zona in cui si incontrano bambini, pedoni, animali domestici,

veicoli, biciclette o altri ostacoli e pericoli potenziali.

Essere attenti! Osservare sia lontano che davanti al Loomo - gli occhi sono lo strumento migliore per

пешеходов, когда вы подъезжаете сзади, объявите о своем присутствии и замедлитесь при

объезде.

В местах где нет законов касательно самобалансирующихся электрических видов транспорта,

соблюдайте правила этой инструкции. Ни Ninebot Inc., ни Segway Robotics Inc. Не несут

ответственности за повреждения и аварии, травмы и юридические разногласия, вызванные

Не позволяйте другим людям пользоваться Loomo прежде чем они ознакомятся с инструкциями.

дальних расстояниях. Заряжайте после каждого проезда, и избегайте полного разряда. Наилучшая

продуктивность при комнатной температуре (22°Ц). Низкие температуры (0°Ц) могут повредить

аккумулятор.

Проследите за тем, чтобы Loomo был ВЫКЛЮЧЕН, зарядное устройство не воткнуто, и чтобы

может привести к потере равновесия и падению.

Не ускоряйтесь и не замедляйтесь внезапно. Не ускоряйтесь, когда Loomo наклоняется назад

или издает звуковой сигнал. Не пытайтесь обойти систему ограничения скорости.

9. Instrucciones de Seguridad

Loomo puede ser utilizado como un vehículo de auto balanceo, si no ha usado productos como este

anteriormente, por favor lea las instrucciones y practique. Niebot Inc. Y Segway Robotics Inc. No serán

responsables por ninguna herida o daño causado por un viajero no experimentado o por no seguir las

instrucciones en nuestro manual.

Por favor comprenda que puede reducir el riesgo al leer todas las instrucciones y advertencias en este

manual, pero no puede eliminar todos los riesgos. Recuerde que al viajar de Loomo corre el riesgo de

No deje que nadie viaje de Loomo sin que hayan leído cuidadosamente las instrucciones. La seguridad

XII. Use un supresor de picos al cargar para proteger su Loomo de daños causados por incrementos de

energía o picos de voltaje. Solo utilice el cargador proporcionado por Segway Robotics. No utilice

XIII. Utilice únicamente piezas y accesorios aprobados por Segway Robotics. No modifique su Loomo.

Modificar su Loomo puede interferir con su operación causando heridas graves y/o muerte y puede

XIV. No se siente en la cabeza de Loomo. Hacerlo puede causar daños graves a su Loomo.

No lave su Loomo con alcohol, gasolina, acetona, u otros solventes corrosivos o volátiles. Estas sustancias

pueden estropear la apariencia y estructura interna de su Loomo. No lave su Loomo con mangueras de alta

potencia.

Use un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar el dispositivo central. El barro difícil de remover puede fregarse con

un cepillo y pasta de dientes, luego limpie con un paño suave y húmedo. Los rasguños en las partes plásticas

pueden ser pulidos con una lija extra fina.

No almacene o cargue la batería a temperaturas por fuera de los límites establecidos (consulte las Especifica-

Típicamente, una batería completamente cargada debería retener la carga entre 120 y 180 días en modo

espera. Una batería con bajo nivel de carga debería mantener la carga entre 30 y 60 días en modo espera.
