It is most important that this instruction book
should be retained with the appliance for future
reference. Should the appliance be sold or
transferred to another owner, or should you move
house and leave the appliance, always ensure that
the book is supplied with the appliance in order that
the new owner can get to know the functioning of
the appliance and the relevant warnings.
■ These warnings have been provided in the
interest of safety. You MUST read them carefully
before installing or using the appliance.
INSTALLATION
■ Any electrical work required to install this
appliance should be carried out by a qualified
electrician or competent person.
■ Make sure that the appliance does not stand
on its electrical supply cable.
■ If the machine is situated on a carpeted floor, please
adjust the feet in order to allow air to circulate freely.
■ This tumble dryer is designed to be vented
through to the open air. It should have its own
ventilation system which should not be joined
with any other ventilation system connected
to any other appliance.
USE
■ Always unplug the appliance after use.
■ Clothes which are dripping wet should not be
placed in the dryer.
Always load well spun laundry. The higher the
spin speed, the lower the electricity consumption
and the shorter the drying times.
■ Never tumble dry items that have been in
contact with chemicals such as dry
cleaning fluid. These are of a volatile
nature and could cause an explosion.
■ As some bulky items such as duvets and
eiderdowns should be dried in large commercial
machines because of their bulk, check with the
manufacturer of the item if it is suitable for drying in a
domestic machine, even if the dry weight of the item
is within the limit advised.
• Risk of fire: items that have been spotted or soaked
with vegetable or cooking oil constitute a fire hazard
and should not be placed in the tumble dryer.
• If you have washed your laundry with stain
remover you must execute an extra rinse cycle
before loading your tumble dryer.
■ Always check that no cigarette lighters have
been left in pockets.
■ Leave the porthole door slightly ajar when not
in use to preserve the door seal.
■ The fluff filter must be cleaned after every use.
■ Do not operate the appliance with a damaged
filter as this may cause a fire.
■ Do not overload the appliance.
■ Do not allow fluff to accumulate around the dryer.
SERVICE/REPAIR
■ Under no circumstances should you attempt
to repair the machine yourself. Repairs carried
out by inexperienced persons may cause
injury or serious malfunctioning. Refer to your
local Zanussi Service Centre. Always insist on
genuine Zanussi spare parts.
GENERAL SAFETY
■ It is dangerous to modify or try to modify the
specifications of this appliance in any way.
■ This appliance is designed to be used by
adults. Children should not be allowed to
touch the controls or play with the product.
■ Pets and small children may climb into tumble
dryers. Check your appliance each time before use.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
■ The materials used on this appliance marked
with the symbol are recyclable.
This means that they can be recycled by
disposing of them properly in appropriate
collection containers.
■ If you take your appliance to a refuse disposal
site, cut off the power cable flush with the
appliance to avoid the danger of the appliance
being re-used, and disable the door catch to
prevent children becoming trapped inside.
• Old appliance
The symbol on the product or on its
packaging indicates that this product may not be
treated as household waste. Instead it shall be
handed over to the applicable collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

Positioning
It is recommended that, for your convenience, the
machine is positioned close to your washing
machine.
Whilst drying, the tumble dryer will expel a certain
amount of warm, very moist air, and this should
be removed from the room as quickly as possible
to prevent condensation. In an extremely well
ventilated room or close to an open window, this
may occur naturally.
However, in general, it is better to carry the
dryer's exhaust outside via the 100 mm diameter
flexible hose supplied with the appliance; ending
either temporarily at an open window, or
permanently at a fixed ventilation grille, fitted to
an exterior wall or window.
The tumble dryer must be installed in a clean
place, where dirt does not build up.
Make sure there are no obstructing items or
material near the air-intake louvres provided at
the back (e.g. paper, rags etc.).
To keep vibration and noise to a minimum when
the dryer is in use, it should be placed on a firm,
level surface.
Once in its permanent operating position, check
that the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a
spirit level. If it is not, raise or lower the two
adjustable feet at the front of the machine until it
is.
The feet must never be removed.
Do not restrict the floor clearance through
deep-pile carpets, strips of wood or similar.
This might cause heat build-up which would
interfere with the operation of the appliance.
Important
When operating the tumble dryer, the room
temperature must not exceed 35°C, as it may
affect the performance of the appliance.
Fitting the vent hose
To simplify the installation, there is a choice of
vent outlets: one at the back, the others in the left
and right-hand side.
Connect the hose to whichever is the more
convenient by pulling the ring nut (A) from the
vent outlet at the back, screwing it on to the hose
and pushing it firmly back into place.
The unused vents should now be sealed with the
special snap covers provided.

Advice: If the hose is long and the room
temperature low, the moisture might condense to
water inside the hose. This is an unavoidable
natural phenomenon. To prevent this water from
Iying in the hose or flowing back into the tumble
dryer, it is advisable to drill a small hole (dia.
3 mm) in the lowest point of the hose and to
place a small container below it.(See picture,
point A).
Once connected to the dryer, run the vent hose to
the desired outlet point, ensuring that the run’s
overall length is less than 2 m, and that it
contains no more than two bends. As to the outlet
itself, if you have decided on a fixed wall/window
grille, a good local builder’s merchant should be
able to supply you with the necessary fittings and
installation advice.
It is important not to connect the
vent hose to, for example, a cooker
hood, or a chimney or flue pipe
designed to carry the exhaust from
a fuel burning appliance.
Note that to avoid condensation problems, it is
essential that the dryer be fitted with the flexible
hose to carry its “exhaust” at least beyond the
kitchen units; preferable outside the kitchen.
In order to prevent the appliance from
overheating, it is important that the steam
exhaust is unobstructed.
Therefore, in case of a permanent hose fitted to
an exterior wall or ceiling, it must be ensured an
exhaust capacity of at least 150 m
3
/h.
If the dryer is fitted next to kitchen units,
make sure that the vent hose is not squashed.
If the hose is partially squashed, drying
efficiency will be reduced, resulting in longer
drying times and higher energy consumption.
If the hose is completely squashed, the safety
cut-outs with which the machine is fitted may
operate.

Door reversal
To make it easier to load or unload the laundry
the door can be reversed.
This operation must be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Operate as follows:
- Remove the door by unscrewing the two
screws (1) fastening the hinge to the cabinet
(Fig. A).
- Remove the safety catch (2) and the plug (3) by
bending the two fastening tags (Fig. A).
- Refit the safety catch (2) and plug (3) on the
door by reversing their positions (Fig. B).
- Remove the plastic plate (4) by unscrewing the
two fastening screws (Fig. A).
- Refit the plastic plate (4) on the opposite side
(Fig. B).
- Refit the door by screwing in the two screws (1)
which fasten the door to the cabinet (Fig. B).
Electrical connection
This machine is designed to operate on a 220-
230 V, single-phase, 50 Hz supply.
Check that your domestic electrical installation
can take the maximum load required (2.2 kW),
also taking into account any other appliances in
use.
Connect the machine to an earthed socket, in
accordance with current wiring regulations.
The manufacturer declines any
responsibility for damage or injury
through failure to comply with the
above safety precaution.
Stacking kit
A special stacking kit is available through your
dealer, to enable the mounting of the dryer on
top of your washing machine.

1 Programme Chart
This will help you to select the correct time for
drying.
2 Low Temperature Button
Press this button to reduce the temperature when
drying particularly delicate cotton or linen items.
In this case you should select a longer drying
time.
On the programmes for synthetics the
temperature is automatically reduced.
Therefore it is not necessary to depress this
button.
3 Cool Tumbling Button
By depressing this button the heat is cut off. This
is particularly useful to freshen the laundry (e.g.
to remove a persistent odour of moth-balls).
4 Drying Time Selector Dial
The selector dial incorporates two drying cycles,
one of up to 150 minutes at a high temperature
for cotton and linen, and one of up to 100
minutes at a low temperature for synthetic
fabrics.
To set the machine to the selected time, turn the
dial clockwise until the time you want coincides
exactly with the pointer.
NEVER attempt to turn the dial in an
anticlockwise direction.
When selecting the drying time, you should
remember that it includes a 10 minute cooling
phase (position on the dial).
This phase should not be
shortened, stopped or avoided, as this could
cause skin burns or damages to the laundry.
Additional drying
If at the end of the programme the laundry is still
too damp, set the dial for a further period of
drying (remembering to take into account the
cooling period).
5 Mains-On Light
This lights up when the machine starts operating
and goes out at the end of the programme.

Never overfill the drum (do not load large quilts, for example).
The laundry must be suitably spin dried in your washing machine before being placed in the tumble
dryer (500rpm minimum).
Drying times vary according to:
- The type of laundry
- The size of the load
- The degree of spinning prior to drying
Drying times are given as a guide only. Experience will soon enable you to estimate the drying time
needed for your usual laundry loads.
Do not start by selecting a long drying time. It is better to determine the required degree of dryness by
gradually increasing the drying time.
For a mixed load (cotton and resistant synthetics, for example) select the time for the most delicate
fibres and increase it by 10 mins.

Drying sequence
Before starting up for the first time it is advisable
lo load a few moist cloths into the dryer and to let
it run for about 20 minutes. This ensures that no
dust and dirt is left in the drum.
1.Load the laundry
Open the door by pulling the catch forwards.
Load the items one at a time, shaking them out
loosely and close the door.
Please check the laundry does not get caught
between the door and filter.
2. Select the required option
Depress Cool Tumbling or Low Temp. Buttton, if
desired.
3.Select the drying time
Turn the selector dial clockwise to the desired
time, in the high or low temperature section,
depending on the laundry: the mains-on light
illuminates and the machine starts operating.
4.When drying is completed
The machine stops automatically, the mains-on
light goes out.
If the laundry is still too damp, select a further
brief drying time, bearing in mind that during the
last 10 minutes the dryer carries out the cooling
and anti-crease treatment phase.
Clean the filter after every drying programme.
A clean filter ensures correct functioning of
the appliance.

Useful hints
■ Try to load to the maximum capacity of the
machine as small loads are uneconomical.
For information, here is a list of the average
weights of some common laundry items.

■ Never tumble dry the following:
Particularly delicate items such as net
curtains, woollen, silk, fabrics with metal trim,
nylon tights, bulky materials such as anoraks,
blankets, eiderdowns, sleeping bags, feather
quilts and any items containing rubber foam or
materials similar to rubber foam.
■ Always follow the instructions on garment
labels.

■ Close pillowcases and covers with fasteners
to prevent small laundry items getting tangled
inside them. Close press studs, zips and
hooks and tie belts and apron strings.
■ Sort laundry according to type and degree of
drying required.
■ Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing
and saves energy.
■ Avoid drying dark clothes with light coloured
fluffy items such as towels as they could
attract the fluff.
■ The laundry must be thoroughly spun before
tumble drying.
■ Easy-care items, too, e.g. shirts, should be
briefly pre-spun before drying (depending on
crease resistance approx. 30 seconds or using
the special brief spin programme of your
washing machine).
■ Knitted textiles (knitted underwear) may shrink
a little during drying. Please do not overdry
items of this type. It is advisable to allow for
shrinkage when choosing the size of new
purchases.
■ You can also put starched items into your
dryer. However, to achieve the desired
starched effect, choose the programme “iron
dry”. To remove any starch residues, wipe out
the internal drum after drying with a moist
cloth and then rub it dry.
■ To avoid a static charge when drying is
completed, use either a fabric softener when
you are washing the laundry or a fabric
conditioner specifically for tumble dryers.
■ Remove the laundry when the dryer has
finished drying.
■ If individual items are still damp after drying,
set a brief post-drying time, but at least 20
minutes. This will be necessary particularly for
multilayered items (e.g. collars, pockets, etc.).

MAINTENANCE

You must disconnect the appliance from the
electricity supply, before you can carry out any
cleaning or maintenance work.
External cleaning
Use only soap and water and then dry
thoroughly.
Important: do not use methylated spirit, diluents
or similar products.
Cleaning the door
Clean periodically the interior part of the door to
remove any fluff.
Accurate cleaning ensures correct drying.
Cleaning the filter
Your dryer will only function well if the filter is
clean.
The filter collects all the «fluff» which
accumulates during drying and it must therefore
be cleaned at the end of each programme with a
damp cloth.
The filter cannot be removed.
Do not be alarmed by the amount of fluff. It is not
due to excessive wear caused by the dryer. All
fabric loses fluff when drying but it goes un-
noticed in the air. In a tumble dryer it simply
collects in the filter.

your local Electrolux Service Centre.

Es importante conservar este manual de
instrucciones junto con el aparato para cualquier
tipo de necesidades futuras. Si el aparato se vende
o transfiere a otras personas, verificar que el
manual acompañe siempre el aparato para que el
nuevo propietario pueda conocer las funciones y
las respectivas advertencias.
■ Estas advertencias han sido previstas para
vuestra seguridad. Por lo tanto es
necesario leerlas atentamente antes de
instalar y utilizar el aparato.
INSTALACION
■ Cualquier intervención eléctrica necesaria
para la instalación de este aparato debe ser
efectuada por personal especializado.
■ Controle que el aparato no esté apoyado
sobre el cable de alimentación.
■ Si el aparato está colocado sobre un piso cubierto
de moqueta, controle que entre las patas de apoyo
y el piso haya circulación de aire.
■ Esta secadora está proyectada para expeler
el aire hacia el exterior.
Por lo tanto su sistema de ventilación no
debe ser conectado con los sistemas de
ventilación de otros aparatos.
USO
■ Desenchufe siempre el aparato después del
uso.
■ No debe poner ropa que gotea dentro de la
secadora.
Cargue siempre ropa bien centrifugada. Mayor es
la velocidad de centrifugado, menor es el gasto
de electricidad y el tiempo de secado.
■ No introduzca en la secadora ropa que
haya estado en contacto con sustancias
químicas, como solventes para la limpieza
a seco, pues son sustancias volátiles y
podrían provocar una explosión.
• Riesgo de incendio: los tejidos que se han
impregnado o empapado con aceites de cocina
constituye un peligro de incendio y no debería
introducirse en la secadora para realizar un proceso
de secado
.
•
Si usted ha lavado su ropa con el producto
quitamanchas deberá realizar un aclarado
extra en el programa de lavado antes de
introducir la ropa la secadora
■ Visto que alguna ropa voluminosa como edredones y
mantas acolchadas, deberían ser secadas en
máquinas grandes de uso comercial, verifique con el
productor que dichas prendas puedan ser secadas en
aparatos de uso doméstico, aún si el peso de la ropa
seca coincide con los límites admitidos.
■ Controle siempre que en los bolsillos no se
hayan olvidado encendedores.
■ Deje la puerta entreabierta cuando no se usa
el aparato; esto permite una mejor
conservación de la junta de la puerta.
■ Debe limpiar el filtro de la pelusa después de
cada ciclo.
■ No use el aparato con el filtro dañado: existe
el riesgo de incendio.
■ No sobrecargue el aparato.
■ Verifique que no se acumule pelusa alrededor
de la secadora.
ASISTENCIA/REPARACIONES
■ No trate de reparar el aparato sin la ayuda de
un técnico. Las reparaciones efectuadas por
personal no especializado pueden provocar
daños a personas o averías. Póngase en
contacto con el Centro de Asistencia Zanussi
y solicite las piezas de repuesto originales.
SEGURIDAD
■ Es peligroso modificar o tratar de modificar
las características técnicas de este aparato.
■ Este aparato ha sido proyectado para ser utilizado
por personas adultas. Controle que los niños no
toquen los mandos y no jueguen con el aparato.
■ Los animales domésticos y los niños pequeños
pueden trepar y entrar en la secadora: controle
siempre el interior antes de usarla.
PROTECCION DEL AMBIENTE
■ Los materiales marcados con el símbolo usados
en este aparato pueden ser reciclados. Esto
significa que pueden ser nuevamente utilizados si
se depositan en los contenedores apropiados.
■ Cuando el aparato deberá ser despedazado,
corte el cable de alimentación para evitar el

Colocación
Para mayor comodidad sería oportuno que el
aparato se situase cerca de la lavadora.
La secadora produce aire caliente y muy
húmedo, que debe ser eliminado del ambiente lo
más rápidamente posible para evitar la formación
de condensación.
En un ambiente muy bien ventilado o cerca de
una ventana esto ocurre naturalmente.
Pero en general, sería mejor sacar el vapor
mediante el tubo flexible de 100 mm de diámetro
suministrado con el aparato, conectado bien a
una ventana abierta, o bien empalmado de forma
permanente a una rejilla de ventilación fija,
colocada en una pared externa o en una
ventana.
El ambiente en donde se instala la secadora
tiene que estar limpio, sin acumulaciones de
polvo.
Compruebe que cerca de las rejillas de
aspiración posteriores no haya materiales u
objetos que puedan obstruirlas (por ejemplo,
papel, trapos, etc.).
Coloque la secadora sobre un piso plano y
sólido, para reducir al mínimo las vibraciones y el
ruido durante el uso.
Nivele la secadora en la posición requerida por
medio de las patas anteriores.
Las patas no se deben quitar nunca.
No apoye la secadora sobre moqueta de pelo
alto, alfombras, etc. y no coloque debajo del
aparato listones de madera, cartón u otros
materiales. Esto podría causar una
acumulación de calor que perjudicaría el
funcionamiento de la máquina.
Conexión del tubo de descarga
Para simplificar la instalación, el aparato dispone
de tres salidas: una posterior y dos laterales.
Conecte el tubo a la salida seleccionada,
quitando la abrazadera (A) de la salida posterior,
aplicándola luego al tubo y colocando el grupo
tubo/abrazadera en la salida deseada.
Las salidas no utilizadas deben ser tapadas con
las tapitas previstas a tal fin.

Nota: Si el tubo es largo y la temperatura del
cuarto es baja, la humedad puede crear
condensación en el interior del tubo. Este es un
fenómeno natural y por lo tanto inevitable.
Para impedir que el agua quede en el tubo o
vuelva hacia la secadora, se aconseja efectuar
un agujero (dia. 3 mm) en el punto más bajo del
tubo y colocar un pequeño recipiente por debajo.
(Ver figura, punto A).
Después de haber empalmado el tubo a la
secadora, conéctelo a la salida externa,
asegurándose que no haya más de dos codos y
que no supere los 2 metros de longitud. Si ha
elegido una rejilla fija sobre una pared o ventana,
llame a un instalador especializado para efectuar
la instalación.
El tubo de descarga NO debe ser
conectado a una chimenea o a un
conducto de caldera para conducir
los gases de descarga de una
instalación de calentamiento.
Para evitar problemas de condensación sería
oportuno utilizar el tubo de descarga, sobre todo
si la secadora está instalada en la cocina: el
vapor debería ser conducido preferiblemente
hacia el exterior.
Para evitar que la secadora se recaliente, es
importante que el circuito de descarga no esté
obstruido.
En el caso que se utilice el tubo de descarga
fijado a una pared, es necesario asegurar una
capacidad de descarga de al menos 150 m
3
/h.
Si la secadora se coloca cerca de los muebles
de la cocina, verifique que el tubo de
descarga no esté aplastado. Si el tubo está
parcialmente aplastado, la eficiencia de
secado se reducirá, necesitando tiempos de
secado más prolongados y un mayor gasto
de energía.
Si el tubo está completamente aplastado, los
dispositivos de seguridad del aparato pueden
entrar en funcionamiento.

Reversibilidad de la puerta
Para facilitar la carga o la descarga de la ropa,
se puede modificar el sentido de abertura de la
puerta.
Esta operación debe ser efectuada por
personal especializado.
Proceda de la siguiente manera:
-
Quite la puerta destornillando los dos tornillos
(1) que fijan la bisagra a la estructura (Fig. A).
-
Quite el cierre de seguridad (2) y el tapón (3)
doblando las dos aletas de fijación (Fig. A).
-
Vuelva a montar el cierre de seguridad (2) y el
tapón (3) en la puerta (Fig. B).
-
Quite la plaquita de plástico (4) desatornillando
los dos tornillos de fijación (Fig. A).
-
Vuelva a montar la plaquita de plástico (4) en el
lado opuesto (Fig. B).
-
Vuelva a montar la puerta atornillando los dos
tornillos (1) que fijan la puerta a la estructura
(Fig. B).
Conexión eléctrica
El aparato funciona con una tensión de
220-230 V, monofásica, 50 Hz.
Controle que el equipo eléctrico doméstico pueda
sostener la carga máxima requerida (2.2 kW)
considerando también los otros eventuales
electrodomésticos en funcionamiento.
Conecte el aparato a una toma de tierra, en
conformidad con las normas en vigor.

1 Ficha programas
Ayuda a seleccionar el tiempo de secado
adecuado.
2 Tecla reducción temperatura
Pulse esta tecla para reducir la temperatura
cuando se desea secar ropa de algodón o lino
particularmente delicada.
En este caso se debería seleccionar un tiempo
de secado más prolongado.
En los programas para la ropa sintética la
temperatura se reduce automáticamente, por lo
tanto no es necesario pulsar esta tecla.
3 Tecla ventilación con aire fresco
Pulsando esta tecla se desconecta el elemento
calentador. Esto es particularmente útil para
refrescar la ropa (por ejemplo para quitar el olor
persistente de la naftalina).
4 Mando selector de los tiempos
de secado
El mando selector incluye dos ciclos de secado,
uno hasta un máximo de 150 minutos a alta
temperatura para algodón y lino y uno hasta 100
minutos a baja temperatura para tejidos
sintéticos.
Para programar el aparato en el tiempo de
secado deseado, gire el mando selector en
sentido horario hasta que el tiempo de secado
coincida exactamente con el indicador.
NUNCA trate de girar el mando selector en
sentido antihorario.
Cuando se selecciona el tiempo de secado es
necesario recordar que se incluyen 10 minutos
de fase de enfriamiento (posición en el
mando selector).
Esta fase no debe ser reducida, bloqueada o
evitada, de lo contrario se correría el riesgo de
quemaduras y daños a la ropa.
Secado ulterior
Si al final del programa la ropa está todavía
demasiado húmeda, programe el mando selector
para un ulterior período de secado (recordando
de tener en consideración la fase de
enfriamiento).
5 Luz piloto de funcionamiento
Se enciende cuando el aparato empieza a
funcionar y se apaga al final del programa.

La ropa debe ser centrifugada en la lavadora antes de ser introducida en la secadora (500 vueltas/
minuto mínimo).
Los tiempos de secado varían según:
- Tipo de ropa
- Cantidad de ropa
- Grado de centrifugado antes del secado
Los tiempos de secado son indicativos. Con la experiencia será posible determinar los tiempos de
secado necesarios para las cargas de ropa más comunes.
No inicie seleccionando un tiempo de secado prolongado. Es mejor determinar el grado de secado
deseado aumentando gradualmente el tiempo de secado.
Para una carga mixta (algodón y ropa sintética resistente, por ejemplo) seleccione el tiempo
adecuado para las fibras más delicadas y auméntelo de 10 minutos.

Secuencia
de las operaciones
Antes de hacer funcionar el aparato la primera
vez, introduzca algunos trapos limpios, húmedos
y seleccione un tiempo de secado de 20 minutos.
Así estará seguro de que no habrá polvo o
suciedad en el tambor.
1.Introduzca la ropa
Abra la puerta e introduzca la ropa en el tambor,
desplegándola lo más posible. Cierre la puerta
controlando que la ropa no quede entre la puerta
y el filtro.
2. Seleccione la opción deseada
Apriete la tecla “reducción temperatura” o
“ventilación con aire fresco” si lo desea.
3.Seleccione el tiempo de secado
Gire el selector en sentido horario en los minutos
deseados (en el sector de altas o bajas
temperaturas, según el tipo de tejido): la luz
piloto de funcionamiento se enciende y el
aparato inicia a funcionar.
4.Fin del secado
El aparato se para automáticamente, la luz piloto
de funcionamiento se apaga.
Si la ropa está todavía demasiado húmeda,
seleccione otro ciclo breve de secado,
recordando que en los últimos 10 minutos la
secadora efectúa la fase de enfriamiento y de
tratamiento anti- pliegues.
Limpie el filtro después de cada programa de
secado. El filtro limpio asegura un
funcionamiento correcto del aparato.

Consejos útiles
■ Trate de usar la secadora a plena carga, las
cargas pequeñas son antieconómicas.
La siguiente es una lista indicativa del peso
promedio de las prendas más comunes.
Sábana 700 - 1000 g
Manteles 400 - 500 g
Repasadores 70 - 120 g
Servilletas 50 - 100 g
Toallas pequeñas 150 - 250 g
Albornoces 1000 - 1500 g
Camisas de hombre 200 - 300 g

■ Nunca seque las prendas siguientes en la
secadora:
Prendas particularmente delicadas como
cortinas de encaje, lana, seda, tejidos con
aplicaciones en metal, medias de nylon,
prendas voluminosas como chaquetas de
invierno, cubrecamas, mantas acolchadas,
sacos de dormir, edredones o cualquier otra
prenda que contiene gomapluma o
materiales similares.
■ Siga siempre las instrucciones indicadas en
las etiquetas de los vestidos:
secado normal (alta temperatura)
secado delicado (baja temperatura)
no secar en la secadora
■ Abroche las fundas de los almohadones y
sábanas para evitar que la ropa más chica se
envuelva en el interior. Cierre los botones a
presión, cierres y ganchitos y anude los
cinturones y tiras de delantales.
■ Seleccione la ropa según el tipo y el grado
de secado requerido.
■ No seque la ropa excesivamente, de esta
manera se evita la formación de pliegues y
se ahorra energía.
■ Evite introducir ropa oscura junto con las
prendas más claras como las toallas, porque
la primera podría atraer la pelusa.
■ La ropa debe ser bien centrifugada antes de
ser introducida en la secadora.
■ Los tejidos sintéticos deben ser centrifugados
brevemente (aprox. 30 segundos, o bien
utilizando el ciclo de centrifugado breve de
vuestra lavadora).
■ Los tejidos de punto (por ejemplo la ropa
interior) pueden achicarse levemente con el
calor. Recuérdelo cuando los compren.
■ Se pueden secar también las telas
almidonadas. Para mantener el efecto de
almidonado, elija el programa “húmedo para
planchar”. Para remover los residuos de
almidón del tambor, límpielo con un trapo
húmedo.
■ Para evitar que haya electricidad estática al final
de la fase de secado, use un suavizante para
tejidos durante el lavado o un producto
especial para las secadoras.
■ Quite la ropa cuando el aparato ha
completado el ciclo de secado.
■ Si alguna ropa está todavía húmeda al final del
secado, seleccione un tiempo ulterior de al
menos 20 minutos. Esto podría ser necesario
en el caso de ropa multi-estrato (por ejemplo
cuellos, bolsillos, etc.).

MANTENIMIENTO

Se debe desenchufar el aparato antes de
efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza o de
mantenimiento.
Limpieza externa
Use solamente agua y jabón y luego seque
cuidadosamente.
Importante: no use alcohol, solventes o
productos similares.
Limpieza de la puerta
Limpie periódicamente la parte interna de la
puerta para eliminar la pelusa.
Una limpieza correcta asegura un secado
correcto.
Limpieza del filtro
La secadora funcionará bien si el filtro está
limpio.
El filtro recoge toda la “pelusa” que se acumula
durante el secado y de consecuencia debe ser
limpiado al final de cada programa con un paño
húmedo.
El filtro no puede ser removido.
No se alarme por la cantidad de pelusa. Esto no
se debe a un desgaste excesivo de la ropa
causado por la secadora. Todas las fibras
pierden pelusa durante el secado; pero mientras
en ocasión del secado al aire libre este
fenómeno no se nota, durante el secado en el
aparato la pelusa se recoge en el filtro.
