appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear

means to accelerate the defrosting process, other

than those recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside

the food storage compartments of the appliance,

unless they are of the type recommended by the

manufacturer.

supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

easily climb inside.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Ensure that servicing is done by factory authorized

service personnel, to minimize product damage or

safety issues.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) whose physical, sensory or

mental capabilities may be different or reduced,

or who lack experience or knowledge, unless such

persons receive supervision or training to operate

the appliance by a person responsible for their

safety.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. Grounding

reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an

escape wire for the electrical current.

This appliance has a cord that has a grounding

wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be

plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded.

If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be

replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall

outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage

and frequency the appliance is designed for.

WARNING - Improper use of the grounding

plug can result in a risk of electric shock.

Consult a qualiﬁ ed electrician or service agent

if the grounding instructions are not completely

understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the

appliance is properly grounded.

Do not connect your appliance to extension

cords or together with another appliance in the

same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord.

Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the

third ground prong from the power cord. Do not

use extension cords or ungrounded (two prongs)

adapters.

If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similar qualiﬁ ed person in order to avoid hazard.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

LOCATION

• Two people should be used when moving the

appliance.

• Remove interior and exterior packaging prior to

installation. Wipe the outside of the appliance

with a soft, dry cloth and the inside with a

lukewarm wet cloth.

• Place the appliance on a ﬂ oor that is strong

enough to support it when it is fully loaded.

• Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight or

near sources of heat, such as a stove or heater,

as this can increase electrical consumption.

Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also

cause the appliance to perform improperly.

• Do not use the appliance near water, for

example in a wet basement or near a sink.

• This appliance is intended for household use

only. It is not designed for outside installation,

including anywhere that is not temperature

controlled (garages, porches, vehicles, etc.).

• Before connecting the appliance to a power

source, let it stand upright for approximately

6 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a

malfunction in the cooling system from handling

during transportation.

• This appliance is 44.5 cm (17.5 inches) wide

by 68.9 cm (27.1 inches) high by 50 cm

(19.7 inches) deep. Make sure that you leave

the minimum amount of space between the

appliance and all surrounding walls and vents.

• Allow 12.7 cm (5 inches) of space between the

back, sides and top of the appliance and all

adjacent walls.

• This appliance is intended for free-standing

installation only and is not intended to be

built into a cabinet or counter. Building in this

appliance can cause it to malfunction.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

FEATURES

1. Tempered glass door: Tinted for UV protection

while still allowing for easy interior viewing.

all the cooling power and humidity levels.

LEVELING INSTRUCTIONS

There is an adjustable leg on the bottom of the

appliance that can be turned up or down to ensure

that the appliance is level. It is important that the

appliance is level to minimize noise and vibration.

To level the appliance:

1. Move the appliance to its ﬁ nal location.

2. Turn the leveling leg counter-clockwise as far as

it will go, until the top of the foot is touching the

bottom of the chassis.

3. Slowly turn the leveling leg clockwise until the

appliance is level.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

The temperature of the beverage centre is controlled

by adjusting the thermostat control knob on the

back of the unit. To achieve maximum cooling

temperature quickly:

• Turn the temperature control knob clockwise to

the widest, darkest part of the graduated blue

control dial.

• Allow the unit to run at this setting for 3 - 4

hours.

• Turn the temperature control knob to the middle

position on the graduated blue control dial, as

per Fig. A.

• To turn the beverage centre off, turn the control

knob to the “0” position, as per Fig. B. If the

beverage centre will not be used for an extended

period of time, it is recommended to unplug the

unit and leave the door partially open to avoid

possible formation of odors inside the unit.

Note: On the graduated blue dial, the thicker,

darker blue indicates colder temperatures and the

thinner, lighter blue indicates warmer temperatures.

The beverage centre temperature will vary

depending on the quantity of bottles stored in the

unit and the frequency that the door is opened.

INTERIOR LIGHT

To manually operate the blue interior light, press the

light switch situated on the left side of the interior

light housing on the ceiling of the unit. This will

allow the light to remain on while the door is closed.

Note: The light will default to off. It can be turned

on to run continually. Due to energy efﬁ ciency

requirements for a beverage centre in this size,

there is no option to have the light turn on when the

door opens.

STOCKING INSTRUCTIONS

This beverage centre has a maximum capacity of

90, 355 mL cans.

1. The ﬁ rst shelf holds ten 355mL cans, when laid

horizontally ﬁ ve across and two deep.

2. The next two shelves hold 25 cans each, when

arranged vertically, ﬁ ve cans across, ﬁ ve cans

deep.

3. The bottom section holds 30 cans, when laid

horizontally, ﬁ ve cans across, two cans deep

and three cans high.

Note: The beverage centre can accommodate up

to 95, 355 mL cans by removing the top shelf and

stacking cans on top of one another.

SHELF INSTRUCTIONS

To remove a shelf from its locked position, lift the

rear of the shelf upward and then slide the shelf out

of the unit.

To replace the shelf, ensure it is resting securely on

the support brackets and then push inward until the

shelf locks into place.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

DOOR REVERSAL INSTRUCTIONS

If the appliance is placed on its back or side for any length of time during this process, it must be allowed

to remain upright for 6 hours before plugging it in to avoid damage to the internal components.

Ensure the appliance is unplugged before completing the door reversal.

• Remove the screws from the lower hinge assembly and door support bracket.

• Pull the door downward to remove it from the cabinet.

• Remove the screw from the upper hinge cap and then remove the two screws from the upper hinge

assembly.

• Remove the two plastic caps from the cabinet and the door plug from the top of the door.

• Install the upper hinge assembly and hinge cap on the opposite side of the unit.

• Place the door against the unit and push up until the pin in the upper hinge assembly slots into the hole

where the door plug was removed.

• Install the lower hinge assembly and door bracket support on the opposite side of the unit.

• It is recommended at this juncture to stand the unit upright and check that the door is level and that the

gasket is making a good seal with the cabinet all the way around. If the door is not level or if the gasket

is not touching the cabinet at any point, double check that all hinge screws are tight.

• Install the two plastic caps in the holes in the cabinet where the upper hinge assembly was removed.

• Install the door plug in the top of the door where the upper hinge pin used to be.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.

• To clean the inside of the appliance, use a soft

cloth and a solution of a tablespoon of baking

soda to one quart of water or a mild soap

solution or some mild detergent.

• Wash removable shelves in a mild detergent

solution, then dry and wipe with a soft cloth.

• Clean the outside with a soft, damp cloth and

some mild detergent.

• It is important to keep the area clean where the

door seals against the cabinet. Clean this area

with a soapy cloth. Rinse with a damp cloth and

let dry.

Note: Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or

alcohol on the appliance. Ammonia or alcohol can

damage the appearance of the appliance. Never

use any commercial or abrasive cleaners or sharp

objects on any part of the appliance.

POWER FAILURE

Most power failures are corrected within a few

hours and should not affect the temperature of your

appliance if you minimize the number of times the

door is opened. If the power is going to be off for

a longer period of time, take the proper steps to

protect your contents.

Note: Wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting

to restart the appliance if operation has been

interrupted.

DEFROST

This appliance is equipped with an automatic

defrost function and does not require manual

defrosting. Defrost water from the appliance is

channeled into a drip tray located above the

compressor. Heat transfer from the compressor

causes the defrost water to evaporate.

VACATION

• Short vacations: Leave the appliance operating

during vacations of less than three weeks.

• Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used

for several months, remove all items and turn

off the appliance. Clean and dry the interior

thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth,

leave the door open slightly, blocking it open if

necessary.

MOVING

• Remove all items.

• Turn the adjustable leg up to the base to avoid

damage.

• Tape the door shut.

• Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright

position during transportation. Also protect the

outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar

item.

• If the appliance is placed on its back or side

during transportation, upon reaching the

destination, allow it to remain upright for 6

hours before plugging in to avoid damage to the

internal components.

DISPOSAL

This appliance may not be treated as regular

household waste, it should be taken to the

appropriate waste collection point for recycling

of electrical components. For information on local

waste collection points, contact your local waste

removal agency or government ofﬁ ce.

TROUBLESHOOTING

LIMITED IN-HOME APPLIANCE WARRANTY

This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating

conditions intended by the manufacturer.

This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter

“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.

First Year

During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s

option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.

Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service” , it will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at

their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a service depot for repair. See “Boundaries of In Home Serv ice” below.

Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service depot, where service

must be performed by a qualied service technician.

If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all

obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.

under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall no t be responsible for any damages

to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of

the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.

No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:

6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.

7) Service calls resulting in customer education.

8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).

Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our

AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEPOT.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE

Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. La mise à

Cet appareil possède un cordon doté d’un ﬁ l de

EMPLACEMENT

• Deux personnes doivent être utilisées pour

déplacer l’appareil.

• Retirer l‘emballage intérieur et extérieur avant

l’ installation. Essuyez l’extérieur de l’appareil

avec un chiffon doux et sec et à l’intérieur avec

un chiffon humide tiède.

• Placez votre appareil sur un plancher qui

est assez fort pour le soutenir quand il est

complètement chargé.

• Ne placez pas l’appareil directement dans la

lumière du soleil ou à proximité de sources de

chaleur, comme un poêle ou un réchauffeur,

car cela peut augmenter la consommation

électrique. Des températures ambiantes extrêmes

et froides peuvent également provoquer

dysfonctionnement de l’appareil.

• Ne pas utiliser ce produit près de l’eau, par

exemple, dans un sous-sol humide ou près d’un

évier.

• Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique

INSTRUCTIONS DE NIVEAU

Il y a une patte réglable au bas de l’appareil

qui peut être montée ou bas pour s’assurer que

l’appareil est au niveau. Il est important que

l’appareil soit à niveau pour minimiser les bruits et

les vibrations. Pour niveler l’appareil:

1. Déplacez l’appareil vers son emplacement ﬁ nal.

2. Tournez la jambe de nivellement dans le sens

inverse des aiguilles d’une montre aussi loin que

possible, jusqu’à ce que le haut du pied touche

le bas du châssis.

3. Tournez lentement la jambe de nivellement dans

le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce que

l’appareil soit à niveau.

CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION

RÉGLAGE DU CONTRÔLE DE TEMPÉRATURE

La température du compartiment du centre de

breuvages est contrôlée en ajustant/réglant la

roulette de contrôle de température, située à

l’arrière du cabinet. Pour démarrer le centre de

breuvages et obtenir un refroidissement maximum

rapidement :

• Tournez le bouton de contrôle de la température

dans le sens horaire à la plus large, la plus

sombre partie de la molette de commande bleu

gradué.

• Laissez l ‘appareil fonctionner pendant 3 à 4

heures.

• Lorsque le refroidissement maximal est atteint,

tournez le bouton de contrôle de la température

sur la position médiane sur la molette bleue

graduée, comme indiqué sur la Fig. A.

• Pour éteindre le centre de boissons, tournez

le bouton de commande sur la position “0”,

comme indiqué sur la Fig. B. Si le centre de

boisson n’est pas utilisé pendant une période

prolongée, il est recommandé de débrancher

l ‘appareil et de laisser la porte partiellement

ouverte pour éviter la formation d’ odeurs à l

‘intérieur de l’ appareil.

Remarque: Sur le cadran bleu gradué, le, bleu

foncé épais indique des températures plus froides et

plus mince, plus léger bleu indique des températures

plus chaudes. La température du centre des boissons

varie en fonction de la quantité de bouteilles

stockées dans l’appareil et de la fréquence

d’ouverture de la porte.

LUMIÈRE INTÉRIEURE

Pour actionner manuellement la lumière bleue

intérieure, appuyez sur le commutateur situé sur le

côté gauche du boîtier de l’éclairage intérieur au

plafond de l’appareil. Ceci permettra à la lumière

de rester allumée pendant que la porte est fermée.

Remarque: Le voyant s’éteint par défaut. Il peut

être activé pour fonctionner continuellement. En

raison des exigences d’efﬁ cacité énergétique pour

un centre de boissons de cette taille, il n’y a aucune

option pour avoir la lumière allumée quand la porte

s’ouvre

INSTRUCTIONS DE L’ÉTAGÈRE

Pour retirer une étagère de sa position verrouillée,

soulevez l’arrière de l’étagère vers le haut, puis

faites glisser l’étagère hors de l’unité.

Pour remplacer l’étagère, assurez-vous qu’elle

repose solidement sur les supports, puis poussez

vers l’intérieur jusqu’à ce que la tablette

s’enclenche.

ENTREPOSAGE DES BIDONS

Ce centre de boissons a une capacité maximale de

90 boîtes de 355 mL.

1. La première étagère contient dix boîtes de 355

ml, lorsqu’elles sont posées horizontalement cinq

à travers et deux profondes.

2. Les deux étagères suivantes contiennent 25

boîtes chacune, disposées verticalement, cinq

boîtes latérales, cinq boîtes profondes.

3. La partie inférieure contient 30 boîtes, placées

horizontalement, cinq boîtes latérales, deux

canettes profondes et trois boîtes de haut.

Remarque: Le centre de boissons peut accueillir

jusqu’à 95 boîtes de 355 mL en enlevant l’étagère

supérieure et les boîtes d’empilage les unes sur les

autres.

INSTRUCTIONS DE L’INVERSION DE PORTE

Si l’appareil est placé à l’arrière ou au côté pendant un certain temps pendant ce processus, il doit être

autorisé à rester debout pendant 6 heures avant de le brancher pour éviter d’endommager les composants

internes.

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est débranché avant de terminer l’inversion de la porte.

• Retirez les vis de la charnière inférieure et du support de porte.

• Tirez la porte vers le bas pour la retirer de l’armoire.

• Retirez la vis du bouchon supérieur de charnière, puis retirez les deux vis de l’ensemble charnière

supérieure.

• Retirez les deux bouchons en plastique de l’armoire et la ﬁ che de la porte du haut de la porte.

• Installez l’ensemble charnière supérieure et le capuchon de charnière sur le côté opposé de l’unité.

• Placez la porte contre l’unité et poussez vers le haut jusqu’à ce que la broche dans l’ensemble de

charnière supérieure fentes dans le trou où la ﬁ che de porte a été enlevé.

• Installez l’ensemble de charnière inférieure et le support de support de porte sur le côté opposé de

l’unité.

• Il est recommandé à ce stade de tenir l’unité à la verticale et de vériﬁ er que la porte est de niveau et

que le joint d’étanchéité est une bonne étanchéité avec le cabinet tout autour. Si la porte n’est pas de

niveau ou si le joint d’étanchéité ne touche pas l’armoire en aucun point, vériﬁ ez que toutes les vis de

charnière sont serrées.

• Installez les deux bouchons en plastique dans les trous dans l’armoire où l’ensemble charnière

supérieure a été enlevé.

• Installez la ﬁ che de la porte dans le haut de la porte où l’épingle de charnière supérieure était

auparavant.

NETTOYAGE

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est débranché avant de

nettoyer une partie de l’appareil.

• Pour nettoyer l’intérieur de l’appareil, utilisez

un chiffon doux et une solution d’une cuillère

à soupe de bicarbonate de soude à un quart

d’eau ou une solution de savon doux ou un

détergent doux.

• Lavez les tablettes amovibles dans une solution

détergente douce, puis séchez et essuyez avec

un chiffon doux.

• Nettoyez l’extérieur avec un chiffon doux et

humide et un peu de détergent doux.

• Il est important de garder la région de scelle-

ment de la porte sur l’armoire propre. Nettoyez

avec un tissu savonneux, rincez le région et puis

séchez.

Remarque: N’utilisez pas de produits nettoyants

comprenant de l’ammoniaque ou de l’alcool sur

l’appareil. L’ammoniaque ou l’alcool peuvent altérer

le ﬁ ni de l’appareil. N’utilisez jamais de nettoyant

industriels sur aucune partie de votre appareil.

PANNE DE COURANT

La plupart des pannes de courant ne durent que

quelques heures et ne devraient pas modiﬁ er la

température de votre l’appareil si vous réduisez au

maximum le nombre de fois où la porte est ouverte.

Si le courant reste coupé pendant une longue

période. il faut prendre des mesures de protection

du contenu de l’appareil.

Remarque: Attendez 3 à 5 minutes avant d’essayer

de redémarrer le réfrigérateur si l’opération a été

interrompue.

DÉGIVRER

Cet appareil est équipé d’une fonction de dégivrage

automatique et ne nécessite pas de dégivrage

manuel. Le dégivrage de l’eau de l’appareil

est canalisé dans un tiroir situé au-dessus du

compresseur. Le transfert de chaleur du compresseur

provoque l’évaporation de l’eau de dégivrage.

VACANCES

• Courtes vacances: Laissez le unité fonctionner

pendant les vacances durant moins de trois (3)

semaines.

• Longues vacances: Si l’unité ne doit pas être

utilisé pendant plusieurs mois, retirez tout ce

qu’il contient et mettez-le hors tension. Nettoyez

et asséchez à fond l’intérieur. Pour éviter les

odeurs et le développement de moisissures,

laissez la porte entrouverte, la coincer au

besoin.

DÉPLACEMENT

• Retirez tout ce qu’il contient.

• Tournez la patte réglable pour la relever dans la

base et éviter tout dommage.

• Maintenez la porte fermée avec du ruban-

cache.

• Assurez-vous que l’appareil reste bien en

position verticale pendant son transport.

Protégez aussi l’extérieur du l’appareil avec une

couverture ou l’équivalent.

• Si l’appareil est placé sur son dos ou sur son

côté pendant le transport, après avoir atteint la

destination, laissez-le rester debout pendant 6

heures avant de le brancher pour permettre au

liquide de refroidissement de s’installer.

ÉLIMINATION DES DÉCHETS

Ce produit ne doit pas être traité comme un déchet

domestique ordinaire, il doit être transporté au

point de collecte approprié pour le recyclage

des composants électriques. Pour obtenir des

Este aparato debe estar conectado a tierra. La

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN

UBICACIÓN

• Se deben utilizar dos personas al mover el

aparato.

• Retire el embalaje interior y exterior antes de la

instalación. Limpie el exterior del aparato con

un paño suave y seco y el interior con un paño

húmedo tibio.

• Coloque el aparato en un piso que sea lo

suﬁ cientemente fuerte como para soportarlo

cuando esté completamente cargado.

• Ubique el aparato lejos de la luz directa del sol

y fuentes de calor (estufa, calentador, radiador,

etc.). La luz solar directa y las fuentes de calor

pueden aumentar el consumo eléctrico. Las

temperaturas ambientales extremadamente frías

también pueden causar que la unidad funcione

incorrectamente.

• No utilice este producto cerca del agua, por

ejemplo, en un sótano húmedo o cerca de un

fregadero.

• Este aparato está diseñado para uso doméstico

solamente. Esta unidad no está diseñada para

instalación exterior, incluida la instalación en

INSTRUCCIONES DE NIVELACIÓN

Hay una pata ajustable en la parte inferior

del aparato que se puede subir o bajar para

asegurarse de que el aparato esté nivelado. Es

importante que el aparato esté nivelado para

minimizar el ruido y las vibraciones. Para nivelar el

aparato:

1. Mueva el aparato a su ubicación ﬁ nal.

AJUSTE DEL CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA

La temperatura del compartimiento del centro

de bebidas se controla ajustando la perilla del

termostato, ubicada en el exterior de la pared

trasera del gabinete. Para encender el centro

de bebidas y obtener el máximo enfriamiento

rápidamente;

• Gire la perilla de control de la temperatura

en el sentido de las agujas del reloj a la parte

más ancha y oscura del dial de control azul

graduado.

• Deje que la unidad funcione en este ajuste

durante 3 - 4 horas.

• Cuando se consiga el enfriamiento máximo,

gire la perilla de control de temperatura a

la posición central en el dial de control azul

graduado, como se muestra en la Fig. A.

• Para apagar el centro de bebidas, gire la

perilla de control a la posición “0”, como se

muestra en la Fig. B. Si el centro de bebidas no

se va a utilizar durante un período de tiempo

prolongado, se recomienda desenchufar la

unidad y dejar la puerta parcialmente abierta

para evitar la posible formación de olores

dentro de la unidad.

Nota: En el dial azul graduado, el azul más grueso

y más oscuro indica temperaturas más frías y el

azul más delgado, más claro indica temperaturas

más calientes. La temperatura del centro de bebidas

variará dependiendo de la cantidad de botellas

almacenadas en la unidad y de la frecuencia con la

que se abre la puerta.

LUZ INTERIOR

Para accionar manualmente la luz interior azul,

presione el interruptor situado en el lado izquierdo

de la carcasa de luz interior en el techo de la

unidad. Esto permitirá que la luz permanezca

encendida mientras la puerta está cerrada.

Nota: La luz se apagará por defecto. Se puede

encender para funcionar continuamente. Debido

a los requisitos de eﬁ ciencia energética para un

centro de bebidas en este tamaño, no hay opción

para que la luz se encienda cuando se abre la

puerta.

INSTRUCCIONES DEL ESTANTE

Para quitar un estante de su posición bloqueada,

levante la parte trasera del estante hacia arriba y

luego deslice el estante fuera de la unidad.

Para reemplazar el estante, asegúrese de que está

descansando ﬁ rmemente en los soportes de soporte

y luego empuje hacia dentro hasta que el estante se

bloquee en su lugar.

INSTRUCCIONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO

Este centro de bebidas tiene una capacidad

máxima de 90 latas de 355 mL.

1. La primera estantería contiene diez latas de

355mL, cuando se coloca horizontalmente cinco

a través y dos profundas.

2. Las dos estanterías siguientes tienen 25

latas cada una, cuando están colocadas

verticalmente, cinco latas a lo ancho, cinco latas

profundas.

latas profundas y tres latas altas.

Nota: El centro de bebidas puede acomodar hasta

95, 355 ml latas quitando el estante superior y

apilando latas encima de uno otro.

INSTRUCCIONES DE REVERSIÓN DE LA PUERTA

Si el aparato se coloca en su parte posterior o lateral durante un período de tiempo prolongado durante

este proceso, se debe permitir que permanezca erguido durante 6 horas antes de enchufarlo para evitar

daños a los componentes internos.

Asegúrese de que el aparato esté desenchufado antes de completar la inversión de la puerta.

• Quite los tornillos del conjunto de la bisagra inferior y del soporte de la puerta.

• Tire de la puerta hacia abajo para sacarla del armario.

• Coloque la puerta contra la unidad y empuje hacia arriba hasta que el pasador en el conjunto de

bisagra superior se encaje en el oriﬁ cio donde se retiró el tapón de la puerta.

• Instale el conjunto de la bisagra inferior y el soporte del soporte de la puerta en el lado opuesto de la

unidad.

• Se recomienda en esta coyuntura para mantener la unidad en posición vertical y comprobar que

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

LIMPIEZA

Asegúrese de que la unidad esté desenchufada

antes de limpiar cualquier parte del aparato.

• Para limpiar el interior del aparato, utilice un

paño suave y una solución de una cucharada

de bicarbonato de sodio a un litro de agua o

una solución de jabón suave o algún detergente

suave.

• Lave los estantes removibles en una solución de

detergente suave, luego seque y limpie con un

paño suave.

• Limpie el exterior con un paño suave y húmedo

y un poco de detergente suave.

• Es importante mantener el área limpia donde la

puerta sella contra el gabinete. Limpie este área

con un paño jabonoso. Enjuague con un paño

húmedo y deje secar.

Nota: No utilice limpiadores que contengan

amoníaco o alcohol en el aparato. El amoniaco o

el alcohol pueden dañar el aspecto del aparato.

Nunca utilice limpiadores comerciales o abrasivos

ni objetos aﬁ lados en ninguna parte del aparato.

FALLO DE ALIMENTACIÓN

La mayoría de las fallas de alimentación se corrigen

en pocas horas y no deben afectar la temperatura

de su aparato si minimiza el número de veces que

se abre la puerta. Si la alimentación va a estar

apagada por un período de tiempo más largo,

tome las medidas apropiadas para proteger su

contenido.

Nota: Espere de 3 a 5 minutos antes de intentar

reiniciar el refrigerador si se ha interrumpido la

operación.

DESCONGELAMIENTO

Esta unidad está equipada con una función

de descongelación automática y no requiere

descongelación manual. El agua de descongelación

de la unidad se canaliza en una bandeja de goteo

situada por encima del compresor. La transferencia

de calor desde el compresor hace que el agua de

descongelación se evapore.

VACACIONES

• Vacaciones cortas: Deje el aparato en

funcionamiento durante las vacaciones de

menos de tres semanas.

• Largas vacaciones: Si el aparato no se va

a utilizar durante varios meses, retire todos

los artículos y apague el aparato. Limpie y

seque el interior a fondo. Para evitar el olor y

“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.

Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:

1) Power failure.

2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.

3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions

(extremely high or low room temperature).

5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).

6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.

7) Service calls resulting in customer education.

8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).

Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our
